I always found it humorous when Dallas, 0 championships, fans started talking smack about the other Texas teams. I used to say look, I could understand the pride if you were a Spurs fan, but Dallas? How do you have room to talk. I guess now they have a little more room to talk. Still one is less than two.
Sound like it was written by Pull_up_3. The Mavs love on this board was sickening around the Finals time because most of my friends from Dallas act like the person who wrote that article when it comes to sports.
Exactly. Dallas winning the championship just gives more fire for those douchebags. Now we have to hear more crap from Dallas fans.

Yeah I'm from Houston and now live up in DFW. I was raised as a cowboys fan b/c my family is from Corpus, and am now a season ticket holder. I was at back to back rockets championships as a kid and have rooted for them ever since so I feel like i'm a good neutral example. Really being a rox fan and a cowboys fan is very similar. Both have great histories and are struggling to get back to contending form.That being said, when someone asked me if I was rooting for the mavs I told them I was hoping that there was a way that both teams could lose (like possibly a terrorist attack)... but then again, when the mavs won i was satisfied b/c it was the lesser of two evils... but having to listen to people talk about it all the time is really a beating. Until they win another one we'll always have bragging rights where Basketball is concerned.
I absolutely hate Dallas and I was actually rooting for the Heat. I consider myself a pretty level, educated guy that can create an unbiased opinion. Yes, the Mavs were the feel good team and the protagonist in the series Yes, they played hell of basketball BUT, the reason I went against them is the Dallas fans who are also Cowboy fans think they are the complete ****! They never stop talking about anything but themselves. They have great franchises with great owners, but prick of fans.
