You're lucky to be here supermac34. We don't hire many A&M engineering undergrads. Most interns come from the following schools. Texas Carnegie Mellon Michigan Georgia Tech MIT Florida A&M and some Ohio State I have only met a couple of engineering interns from A&M and they're both ME. I do know that many of the oil companies in Houston have the Agggie "good ol boy" networks, and hire a lot in CS. However, just about every single major engineering firm comes to UT to recruit. Why? Because We're Texas.
The A&M administration's refusal to keep the annual bonfire in check and the resulting tragedy speak volumes about the mindset of the University leadership. I don't mean to insult anyone with this post I just feel the bonfire tragedy should be addressed - I am in no way making light of this event. I would like to hear the A&M opinion on this- thanks
