Saying Harden deserves the MVP is fine, but saying that Curry shouldn't even be considered is absurd.

Lolz. And would those "pretty good" defensive bigs also be healthy the majority of the season?

It's not about switching both players and their teams but rather replacing them with similar players in the league stats wise and seeing how those teams would fare.

Completely agree. I'm a Rockets fan and I will always support players on my favourite team. I'm a Basketball fan and I believe no player is more deserving of the MVP than Harden, but what is irritating is when media (and even some fans on here) try to discredit either player as being deserving of the award.

Both players deserve to win the award and excellent cases can be made for why either deserves to. I know which case I feel is stronger but both are deserving.

Warriors are better than a lot of teams they've lost to.

Talking heads saying the race is over after Curry finally has a Harden type night.

as the 3rd best player so.....

This counts for the media. That does not make Curry that much better but I'd rather not take the MVP and go to the Finals instead of having a Nash situation being stuck at the 3rd round forever.

There was no way Harden could have gone to the Finals without KD and WB, Ibaka.....as their 6th man

    Give it to Curry

Harden had 2 big games against the Spurs to strengthen his case and make it more convincing and dude fired bricks

    lol is that a joke

Klay Thompson was an all-star this year

they have an all-world defender in Iggy coming off the bench... Curry no question plays with better players than Harden

I want Harden to win it as a Rockets fan.

But would not be that upset if Steph won it. Guy is such a fun player to watch. Love his game.

Ok. Then allstar. Allstar is closer to an superstar than just a good player in this league.

If we finished 2nd in the West it would be hard not to give it to Harden. Now it looks like we're going to be more like 5-6 seed, so the award probably goes to Curry.

I think Josh Smith's free throws might've cost Harden his MVP.

Give it to Curry. Light a fire on Harden's butt.

    Time to shut it down.

Curry has the MVP wrapped up after these two duds by Harden.

It's really not, it's just a "what have you done for me lately" type of world, especially with this MVP thing.

Curry will win. There's really no doubt about it. Just hope Harden plays well because of it.

You guys throw around the word superstar way too often around here

    Klay is NOT a superstar

There are only a handful of superstars in the league

Curry WB Harden AD LBJ KD are superstars to name some

    Not Klay

Ok. Who cares if you yourself are so sensitive towards that term 'superstar'.

An allstar like Klay is going to get it done.

A borderline allstar like Leonard can get it done if he is in good shape.
