I don't think their ways of thinking are all that different. It's simply that their situations are vastly different. Extreme views of those in power have no need for violence because they can simply write laws to put their views in practice. This is just like how people who get caught snatching purses go to jail. And how people who steals from the entire world get to stay filthy rich.
I have been to Alabama (spent about a year near Fort Benning) and it is a very beautiful place in areas. The weather isn't too bad, the cost of living is low and the people are very nice. I did run across some shockingly racist people (although less than you probably think), but mostly the issue wasn't the KKK (which is a joke, even in Alabama), it was actually the Baptist faith has a very strong culture rooted. Many things that people viewed as "backwards" or "racist" were just the Baptist influence. I have considered moving to Georgia or Alabama. There are beautiful areas and a nice, slower pace of life.
Comparing mere backwards racists to Southern Baptists is demeaning and hurtful to backward racists everywhere.
The poster said the country sucks. Is the poster such a loser he can't live where he wants? When you say a country sucks, and you live there, you are either too poor or stupid to move.
Not necessarily... Anyways, I don't think the poster meant his point to be that America literally sucks. Rather, as I believe myself, America isn't the glorious, equal, innovative, and opportunity driven land that many in places of power want to make it seem like we still are (in large part, thanks to guys like the Chief Justice in the video).
Have you ever been to a Southern Baptist church? I have, and I don't know what you are talking about.
You would laugh officials ignoring the 1st amendment? People like you just like to spit in the face of our troops and others who have sacrificed everything for our freedoms. It's disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself.
