Actually, today's crowd vs the pistons is REALLY loud. Even though some seats were empty. Must be alot of red rowdies tonight.

The team has a 24-10 home record this year; I'd say the crowd has done a pretty good job.

And I tell ya what... this city WILL get behind their team when it matters the most.

i myself have been to about 12 games so far this season, tonights game was by far the best crowd in those 12 games. everyone was loud, and energetic, i'm not even going to count the dallas game here in houston as a good crowd, 75% of them seemed to be mavs fans...

The crowd tonight was great the people who im disappointed in are the the midcourt clubseats they dont cheer or get up for anything(except the tshirt toss) The corners and and rowdies and behind the bucket do a great job but the midcourt clubseats lack energy.

Hahah...my section never got up. I got so pissed that I grabbed the Rockets towel my girl had, turned around, and started screaming at my section that the loudest fan in my section could have the towel at the end of the game. I am seriosuly thinking of making my own crap to hand out to my section to get them loud from now on

I live in Austin so I don't get to go to very many games. I actually saw Yao for the first time live last season!

I've been to a few games this year, and was at tonight's game. We sat in the club section. Me and my bro were yelling our asses off the whole time and taunting Rasheed and CWeb as much as we could (it was probobly because of us that they were so ineffective), but everybody around us was dead except for the lady sitting above us (I think she may have been Chinese; she and her group cheered for Yao hardcore).

Being rowdy is contagious (sp?). The ladies in front of us got into the game sometime in the second half, and they turned around and thanked us for being spirited.

The problem really is this: if the management really wanted us to be rowdy, they woudn't sell beer for 7 bucks a pop! Can I get an "amen"!?!?

The excuse before was that we had a boring offense. Then, we moved on to having a bad team. Now, we have gone to not being able to hit shot.

Typical Houston fan attitude. Nice excuse.

I lived there for 20 years. Its not the first city off the tip of my tongue when asked about kickass sports towns.

    The Rockets WON!...BUT!...

And who said we are talking about cheering? We are talking about SHOWING UP TO A GAME WHERE WE ARE PLAYING THE BEST TEAM IN THE EAST!!!!!

Geez...the excuses for the pathetic attendance of the Houston fans towards the Rockets has no bounds.

    OH!

Now the excuse is that Houston is a poor city and NYC is a rich one.

    YES! Thats it!

And of course, NYC is bigger than Houston. So, THATS why MSG is always full and Toyota Center is not. Yet!...Golden State can fit in Houstons pocket, Cleveland can fit in Houstons pocket, Utah, Washington, DC, Boston, NEW FREAKIN JERSEY averages more than Houston! Have you been to that DUMP! Its so bad, they are moving to BROOKLYN!

    Pathetic.

You of course quoted a post about the Pacers game and made it sound as if he were talking about the Pistons.

    Please, enough of this nonsense.

I take it you've never been to the bay area. Ask your mom to buy you an atlas for your sweet 16 this year.

Also quit complaining about things when you don't know what you're talking about.

My mom can't afford to buy an atlas, flamer! Since when do they accept food stamps for atlas purchases?

    Idiot.
