I'd just like to fly under the radar. Get the first month or so behind us and then be good for the next chunk of the season . . . then the last month we can start the hype. Keep the bar low. Lets see what we can do first. The win it all attitude has been around every year at this time since 95. Guess what, every stinking year is a let down. How about lets just look at being good enough to compete for a playoff position . . . I don't want to hear WCF from anyone, cause we haven't proven $hit. Talent doesn't win you anything. Our first championship was not based on talent, it was chemistry. We could beat people cause we worked together and were a team.
I'm concerned about the schedule. Have a look, its tough right throughout the remainder of 2006. if the schedule forces us into the mid/back of the WC pack early on - it might be hard to get right back amongst the top of the conference. We'd need everything clicking for us. with that said, if we can play well on the road, defend our home court and come out looking well-gelled as a team early - then we can make some serious noy-aaas.
