So... What, exactly, does Mason provide that we need? A tough rebounder? We don't really need rebounding. We were one of the top rebounding teams in the league last year. A quality ballhandler? We've got Mooch and Steve. A ballhog? Cat. A crazy guy? Cato. A smart veteran? Piatkowski and Rice. Mason brings nothing to the table that we need. Did the article even say JVG was interested in him?
I entirely agree with verse. Not only have his skills declined with age but he is a trouble maker as well.I used to like him when he was with the Knicks and even did well initially with the Hornets but he can't help us now.
Thus ends the third "Hey how about anthony mason..no he's an infested sore" thread of the past few fortnights
I like Mason. He's not going to be the man on your team, but he does leave his mark on the game. His game reminds me of Gabe Muoneke's. Who better to learn from for Gabe. I say we grab Mason and have him teach the other passionate young fella. Two PF's that like to pass down low. We'll be the next generation Kings. I wouldn't be thrilled, but I can see this being a decent move if the price is right.
The Post was because of the report Mason might be CUT by Milw, and be a FA. Fortson is not likely to be cut. Mason played for JVG. I, for one, hope he does not, again, play for JVG.
I completely agree, I just thought their games were similar and wondered who was the better player. I know that Danny Fortson is now employed by the Dallas Mavs, but I certainly hope that the Rockets never pick up the phone for Mason!!! Ring..Ring...Ring...Don't touch the Nextel Mr. Dawson!!!
