Okay..... Westbrook has already played with Kevin Durant, James Harden, Serge Ibaka, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George and good role players like Steven Adams, Enes Kanter, Thabo Sofo, Nick Collison, Victor Oladipo and Taj Gibson. That is likely 4 different Hall of Famers in their prime (or close to it) over the last 6-7 years. Seriously, what the hell else do you want to give him? LeBron? Yeah he never played with LeBron, just the second best player on the planet for over half a decade. Also why is Durant no longer playing with Westbrook? Westbrook is a very good player, but he has serious warts and is hard to compare to other elite players. He is like Iverson or Archibald or Elvin Hayes.
Westbrook is this generations Allen Iverson. Flashy, and jaw dropping raw numbers, but the substance just isn't there. I am really starting to believe he is not a top ten player, closer to a John Wall than a James Harden.
OKC made its bed and now is sleeping in it. Last season, they cater to Westbrook's every whim, sacrificing the whole team's performance to make him the MVP. Now Westbrook really believes he is that great and is never going to change his way. After this season's failed experiment with PG and Melo, no star players will ever want to play with him any more. And with Westbrook's contract, no team is going to trade for him. They are stuck with Westbrook for the duration of his contract. And with Westbrook, they are going hover around the #8 - #10 seed, no easy high draft picks.
Lmao, no. She’s as dumb as they come. Appealing to the low info loud mouthed fans (especially the female fans emulating her)
WELL, you got me there. OKC was the GSW. GSW would never had happen if they didn't trade Harden. OKC would be the most hated team in NBA History. Team steals from Seattle and then dominate for the next 10 years. Too bad they traded Harden!
You clearly didn't read my other post. I wasn't saying Westbrookis good, it was more of a knock on how overrated Kobe is. I hate both of them.
The difference is though man Kobe has 5 rings. Two with an entirely different team and two finals MVP. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that Kobe wasn't a ballhog and was a great guy, but he knew when to give it up and step aside and let his other guy do his thing. Westbrook over here stealing rebounds from his bigs. I'm just saying that Kobe was a much better player than Westbrook, silly triple-double average or not.
Kobe is an all time top 20 talent in my book. Westbrook will never be in that conversation. I completely agree with your statement.
I have no doubt Beadle is more informed about the current NBA. Chuck is an uninformed embarrassment -- Beadle is just grossly and unapologetically biased.
