    I have a boxer...aren't they awesome? lol

Why is your wife mad at you, LF? She'll get over it.

BTW, give him Slippery Elm Bark for a couple of days whenever he has runs. Helps to soothe the digestive system. Boxers are really prone to digestive issues.

What is this? I've never heard of it? We feed her all natural and healthy, no table scraps since she has such a sensitive stomach. She ruined her Kennel pad and another dog bed last night with the runs, so nasty. I'm putting her back on just 1 cup of the puppy TOTW tonight with some wet food and a tbsn of Pumpkin. She's also not skipping nightly walks around the neighborhood anymore.

BTW- The wife was mad because before she did the Dee thing and the barf spewed out I was laughing. A lot. Then I stopped when I had to clean up EVERYTHING and I did the Dee gag. The jokes the next day didn't help. This is my dog though, she already had 2 Schnauzers and didn't want another dog, but I ignored her. She blames it all on me. Whateves.

BTW- Who did the Pepto pic? NEED TO REP! So lulz.

I know it is hard but you should fast him for 24 hours so his digestive system can take a break. Only give him water during this time. Or give him a very small meal. If you feed him twice a day then only give him a small meal with SEB for one day. SEB is better than pumpkin. I think you can find it at a health food store. I bought it online.

It is possible that the dog food is TOO rich for him. I've had Bo on Taste of Wild before. I had him on EVO and all other high quality pet foods and he kept having issues (no pooping in the house though) until Maclau mentioned raw feeding in a thread. Raw fed ever since. He does experience runs once in a while but not as often when he was on kibble. So I feel your pain. Hopefully, your puppy will see some relief soon.

Thanks Di, repped! Now I just need to find a mind eraser like they used in Men in Black to wave in front of the wife's face. I don't want to use all of her lotion and tissues.

These are the kind of threads where I seriously reconsider ever buying a dog in my life.

You're welcome...fasting him for 24 hours is your best bet and start all over again. I've done that with Bo. Dogs won't die if they don't eat something for 24 hours. Giving him water is very important though. While fasting, you can give him some chicken broth diluted with water and put SEB in it as well (make sure the chicken broth sodium level is NOT too high. Get a low sodium one)

Good luck with the dog and the wife! :)

Oh, never give him pepto bismbol again! It contains aspirin.

Turn on cnbc, the Westminster dog show is on tonight and tmr, it might get your wife in the mood

Definitely one of the funniest stories on here in a while.

Also lady di has good advice about skipping meals to let that pass through. Also it might the food might be too rich and it just ain't gonna happen.

Not sure about pumpkin, I've also read it can do the opposite of what you want.

I had a Rhodesian ridgeback and went through similar situations snd it sucks. Find one food and stick with it. (also manufacturers switch their ingredients and processes sometimes without telling you so google to see if other people have the same issues. The ****ers don't tell you when they do so it's a pain to figure out )

You shoulda stuck with the schnauzers. Big dogs = big accidents. (Not to mention you had a fur-free house before and now you have shedding, shidding, and hurling issues)

    Sorry about your sex life.

Lady Di is right, and my joke picture aside, never give a dog pepto.

Our vet says Pepcid AC is okay, if a dog's stomach is upset (e.g. eating grass and stuff.)

Plain (absolutely plain) yogurt is supposedly also okay, and we feed our dog some from time to time. She had all kinds of issues with the squirts, but it seems like we're out of the woods (or smelly marshes) now.

I'd get her a voucher for a facial at a spa.

When she comes back all relaxed, ask her in sexy voice, "Ready for round 2?".
