Did you know that Halle Berry's mom is white? One thing that always gets me is that if you have even a little of black in ya, you are considered black?
Let's get back to Foyle. Even black people won't claim him. What is he? One thing for sure, he makes my All-Ugly team right alongside Tashaun Prince and Sam Cassell, Kris Camen, and Jake Tsakalidis. Prince? He's got some white in him. (How do you like that reverse?)
dude, she looks black to me. Trust me, I am the number 1 or number 1A source of Mariah Carey on Clutchfans (unfortunately).
I cant even believe i missed this thread. i had an old coworker that considered herself a coon ass. I also did a double take. i cant remember her maiden name, but it was defintely cajun. it ended it eaux.

Isn't Vanilla Ice half something? and that singer from Hootie and the Blowfish sure sound white to me..
I understood that the majority of Americans were of mixed race! If so Prominent personalities who are identified as having recent mixed blood in their family history should be of no surprize. Here in the USA some people are so sensitive about their race! To-day in the 21st.Cent.I thought being black or white is considered more a state of mind or ones lifestyle more so than a way of identifying one's race. For example Battier who is possibly of mixed race is 'white' in attitude but Jason Kidd who is also of mixed blood is 'black' in attitude. Grant Hill is back but is 'white in attitude. Shaq is black but is 'black' in 'attitude'.I think upbringing and education must play major roles in creating these different attitudes. Not a major consideration for me as all Human Beings are all God's Children.
Good points. There's always exceptions but shows along with skin tone and the behaviors attributed with it there's still focus on how people carry and project themselves. Paul Wall and Bubba Sparx, almost aint white at all
I don't really know what you mean by "attitudes." I don't know that much about the personal lives or opinions of any of those players you mentioned to judge what race they should be classified as. It sounds to me like you are judging mostly on how well those players 'speak.' i.e. if the player uses correct grammar and is articulate, he is 'white' in attitude, and if he uses urban slang or has a 'black' accent then he is 'black' in attitude. This seems like an oversimplified and stereotypical way to classify people. For instance, I would not presume to judge Jason Kidd's attitude or education level based on the fact he has more of an accent than another person. What in your opinion makes Jason Kidd more black than Grant Hill? By your logic, is Jason Williams black?
jesus christ, i thought the original poster would be smashed for not realizing jason kidd was at least partially black -- then a ton of other posters chime in saying they hadn't realized it as well. are you kidding me? it just seems so obvious to me.
