I absolutely agree with all that.

I have a lot more faith in this team because they don't turn the ball over, they rebound the hell out of the ball, hustle, play physical, and don't ever stop defending as a team, and because of that, they still win on nights when they don't shoot well. That '05 team had to shoot a high percentage
or they were doomed, like in game 7. This years Rocket squad is a much cleaner, stronger, stable, machine.

But again, reading the board, I think we would have been better off losing these two games, so the Rockets wouldn't relax in game 3. j/k

If we just split these next 2, it's most likely over for the Jazz, they'd have to win 3 or 4 staight against us...

Even if we drop the next 2, it becomes a best of 3 series with only 1 game at Utah.

The Rockets are up 2-0. The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Relax, the ref's are going to have it out for the Rockets in game 3 due to the crying by the Jazz. The Rockets will in turn say the same thing and win game 4 and finish the deal at home with a 4 point win in game 5. BTW I am still not listening to 95.7 Smooth Jazz at work until the series is over. :)

Imagine the hysteria if the Rockets had lost a game or two?

I agree. The Rockets barely scraped by in these two games at home. The same level of play in Utah won't get it done.

But to their credit, the Rockets didn't collapse at the end of these games under the pressure. If they can hit their outside shots, they'll dominate. They seem to have the mental edge, or experience, over Utah.

I expect rox steals one game in Utah, then we have a big chance to wrap up the series in game 5.

We all know Utah's home is pretty tough, not only for rox, but for all teams in the league. In the next two games, we won't get as many FTs as we got at Houston, and Yao will probably suffer from foul trouble. On the other side, Jazz is eager to win the next two, so they will play more aggressively. I don't think Okur and AK will play that awful on offensive end. They are good shooters but don't find rhythm in the first two games. If they head up in the next two, we need good defense to cool them down. It's not easy.

Fortunetely, we are still up 2-0 although we play so-so. TM and YM played ok in the first two games but they can play better. Jazz will double TM or YM, so rox outside shooter SHOULD make those wide open 3pts. We are the 2nd best 3pt shooting teams. If our 3pt shooting is back to the normal level, this series will be easy.

In the next two games: Sweeping? it's daydreaming. Stealing one is pretty enough for me. Losing two is not inacceptable but that may extend the series to 7.

    Keep rocking!

The Rockets will win a game in Utah. There is no way T-mac is having another game like lastnight in this series.

2 more games. , I do not see why we can not win next two? You could see how bad UTAH is from last 2 games. We supposed lost those two games to any lottery team with The level we played, but we win! anymore ?

Over?!?!? NOTHING is over until WE decide it's over. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

I know this is off topic, but i anyone ready how only the lower bowl got shirts for the last game. That is horrible and just plain cheap! The best fans sit in the upper bowl and most of all most kids sit in the upper bowl. Way to go Les! Jip the kids and give to your corporate clients!

The series is pretty much over. We've shot only 25% on 3's the last two games and have a 2-0 series lead. Once our 3-pointers start falling, Games 3 and 4 will be beatdowns.

Yeah I was at the game lastnight and noticed everyone in the lower bowl having the same t-shirts...WTF???...Was it too expensive for the upper bowl? Also, they kept throwing prizes just to the lower bowl.......

Actually the shirts were on the seats to help create the sea of red effect. Its not catering to the rich clientelle, its about a sea of red appearing on TV. And the Cameras catch the lower bowl much more often than the upper bowl.

Winning the first two and maintaining home court is huge. The Rockets statistically have a great shot at winning out this series. I think the Jazz will win some games, but I think this thing is over before it goes to seven games.

I just think everyone is really nervous from 2005. But the Rockets are a better team and the Jazz aren't the Mavs. Heck, the Jazz have been in a losing slump for the last 3-4 weeks and haven't shown any life yet.

Its OK to feel confident and good so far. Rockets still need to take care of business, and its not going to be a cakewalk, but I think the Rockets will hit their stride and at least one of their wins is going to be a blowout.

Look with the recent playoff history of Tmac and of this team, All our fans our bound to be skiddish with a lead in the playoffs.

I think because someone says that the series isn't over isn't making them Jazz apologetics.

Frankly it doesn't matter who we play, as long as we play our game we will win, but the last 2 games have not been typically games we would get excited about in the regular season.

A win is a win and i predict we will win. but i dont think we will sweep and the series could end up going 6 games or more if we get sloppy

I think Utah will get more calls at home, and they are significantly better at home, that being said we are a great road team and i think our shots will start hitting in Utah to offset the better home play they will display.
