Dude, I feel truly sad for you. I mean I got fired from my part time job the day b4 christmas last year and I thought that was bad.... my sympathies dog
Drew, You found that job and you will find another. I realize it isn't all that easy. Recall that not that long ago I was unemployed for 10 months. The economy is turning around, and I have a feeling this will work out for you. A college buddy of mine once said "If something isn't right for you, God will get you out of it regardless how much it sucks." Try to stay positive. Ref
