5 more pounds for bonzi after this weekend

 

I don't understand why people are pounding Jeff Van Gundy over Bonzi. He played Bonzi and it didn't work. He was too slow and turned the ball over a bunch. Name me one SG in NBA history who was 6'5 270 and capable of keeping up with guys 50 pounds lighter.

That being said, Bonzi will be back soon. And he'll push us to a new level.

 

What is incredible about this is he's screwing himself. He said he wants an opportunity to REALLY win something and prove to himself and others that he IS big-time deserving of big-time money.

All Bonzi is showing right now is what a lazy ****** he is.

He's done nothing to dispel the notion that he is like a living perpetual rubiks cube. I mean IMO you would have better success teaching hieroglyphics to a monkey than getting this fat ape to get with the program.

It's incredible! He truly is a psychological marvel at how he wastes his talent and other peoples time.

I mean he acts like on of the circus carnival acts ... truly a freak of nature.

Hopefully soon we accidentally will have him on the court so we can witness a different pictorial of the Freak of Nature. That would be refreshing.

 

First hearing the news that Bonzi signed with Rockets, I was so excited. But till now, I really feel somewhat disappointed with him and JVG. Now it's uncertain when he can play. It seems JVG doesn't care about that at all.

 

do they have some kind of rules in nba that if you are not in game ready shape by the time the season starts and you have to use the "company time" to just get into shape then you don't get paid. well if they don't, they should. that'll get everyone's body and attitude ready.

Dreamshake: I could see that you were engaged in a long-winded, rambling tirade of JVG, but had to read no further than your claim that Barry has/had a problem with JVG. Thanks for saving me from having to read the rest of your nonsense by putting this ridiculous claim in the upper part of your post. Barry has repeatedly made public statements that he learned more from JVG than any other coach in his NBA playing career. But hey don't let the facts stand in the way of your JVG bashing.

Well, yeah, but.. who would trade us ANYTHING for Bonzo?

The guy is on a one-year leash, and clearly is not interested in playing for the money he is being 'paid', so who would give anything to have him on their team.

I am beginning to think the 2 mil we are paying was basically to keep him off any of our competitors' teams for this one year.

But it's a long season. Hopefully we'll all just be laughing about this in a couple of months.

 

Speaking of.

Look who did not get one second of floor time last night.. yeah, we're looking at YOU, Padgett.

Hopefully this trend continues, and Novak can eventually edge JHo out of the rotation. Looks like Hayes being in means Scotty is out.

So that just leaves one more - Howard creeeps to the bench as Novak takes more and more of his time.

And hopefully by the time Snyder makes it back, Billy will be solid enough for JVG to HAVE to expand his rotation by at least one.

So when is 'Bonzi Bobble-Belly Night'?

 

I'm beginning to agree with the sentiment that Wells will never play. I think its a matter of JVG being inflexible and Bonzi Wells having a sense of entitlement that he can do whatever he wants and should be treated as a star. I think its to the point where the relationship between the two is so bad that they just reinforce their differences. JVG refuses to play Wells because he thinks he is fat and lazy, Bonzi Wells feels slighted by JVG and so decides to not work any harder.
