Man, that hurts. We really thought we were headed in the right direction. Injuries and misfortune hurt, but I think out of all the calculated risks this team took, Anderson's play showed the biggest difference between reasonable expectation and reality. We thought we were getting a tall shooter who had a good all around game and we got a total loser. Anderson really let this team down because he was capable of pulling some weight.

Gonna have to disagree with that... we would've been good, but I doubt we would've owned those decades. Fans were frustrated with Ralph for most of his career - even before he got injured - because he was too inconsistent and too much of a finesse player. Hakeem may not have become the force he ended up becoming if Ralph had stayed healthy, either.
Gonna have to disagree with that, DoD. Sure, Ralph could be frustrating, especially when he thought he was a guard and chose to dribble the length of the court, often turning the ball over in the process (He could be decent at it, just not consistent... in that respect he was inconsistent doing what we didn't want him to do in the first place!), but he graciously stepped aside from playing his natural position, center, to let a young force of nature play the position instead. He may have shortened his career by doing so, although that's pure speculation on my part, but he was a superb PF next to Akeem. I don't think Ralph was too much of a finesse player at all. In my opinion, his numbers in college (3 time college player of the year at Virginia, and more Sports Illustrated covers than any college player up until that time... just an indication of how great he was) and in the NBA prior to being injured bear that out. He was MVP of the All Star game in his second year, as a center, while Akeem was still getting his feet on the ground learning the NBA game. Had we not had that "snow storm" of great role players (or just a great player, Lucas... the guy would have been a super star in his own right at the 1, IMO.) thrown off the team and out of the league, and had Ralph not had the terrible fall in Boston, injuring his back, which caused him to injure his knees as a consequence of overcompensating for it, we would have been the next dynasty. And we had a good coach for the team.
Yao almost killed Tmac near the end of the clip. His bones could've shattered. Looked like he got hit by a truck and dragged across the floor. Luckily Moochie came and tackled Yao. Yao doesn't know how big he is sometimes.
How come Tmac doesnt finish like he used to in Toronto/Orlando Since I've seen him in a Rocket's uni He'll do some dunk here and there but mostly layup but those clips from the past looks like but Kobe is still doing
His back. Tmac got to the line frequently enough last season but this season .... geez does it even need explaining? Have you been following the rockets at all this year?
That was my upload. No kidding man, we had something special last season. All of a sudden it's gone. I thought that was our team, for the next few years. Our contending team. All the pieces just seemed to fit.......
This might've been posted, sorry if it has. YouTube is blocked here. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=857203663983454251&q=Houston+Rockets We were one helluva team last year. Sura, Padgett, James, Wes, & Barry were all solid contributers. Maybe if JHo would've been healthy against the Mavs, we would've advanced past the 1st round.
your upload my mix i was thinking of doing another one and then tracy is out for the year i got so depressed it wouldnt be worth it
What we needed was a player who was loud, cocky and had balls of steel. We needed an enforcer. Sura was that guy last season and this year we didn't even go out to look for a replacement. Ahhh well I guess we learned our lesson.
