So here is the deal. I subscribe to the following add on stations, and I want to thin the heard, but it seems like every channel has one show that is the hook that keeps me paying. Which would you get rid of?? You tube TV is my hub. Netflix family plan- Wife is obsessed with the British baking show, although I have never seen her produce a single Toad in the hole and son piggy backs off our plan. Paramount Plus- I watch all of the Wrexham games, plus Tulsa King and Landman HBO Max- Comes with my phone plan so whatever The HULU, Disney Plus, ESPN Plus package- Don't have much use for these stations except ESPN plus so I can watch FA cup matches and early morning golf. Occasionally watch Only Murders and the Bear on HULU but they both have become average at best lately Apple TV- I watch Shrinking and Slow Horses. It's also good for those Friday night Astros games they have them. Amazon Prime- Probably the weakest of the channels. Sadly, it comes with my Amazon Prime membership so again, whatever. We make our money back in free shipping monthly Discovery Plus- Probably the most bang for my buck. It's only 5 bucks a month and I get to watch mindless shows like House hunters International, Homestead rescue, and Hometown while I'm puttering or making dinner. Peacock- This will be the first to go. Only watch rando sports that they have for some reason. MLB Extra Innings- $150.00 for a season of Astros Baseball for an out of marketer, is a great deal in my opinion NFL Sunday Pass- Costs $350.00 Dollars for the season, which Is good value. Only problem is the Texans seem to be getting many more primetime games as they become a bit more of a power. So, there is less of a need for me. I guess I can keep up on the Red Zone. Who would you cut from this list?????
I just went through this same internal debate: drop Apple TV and Peacock I ended up getting Disney Hulu again. Prime is for Prime not video. Everyone else in the house watches Netflix. HBO had so much promise. But with the end of high quality movies in theaters, the value of subscribing to Home Box Office has fallen. I can only rewatch the Sopranos so much
