I'll vouch for the guy Kam, I just tried that same thing today and it really does work. Those both whistles will get you to world 8.

jimmy (the kid) = neo
corey (fred savage) = morpheus
haley (the chick) = trinity

after witnessing what jimmy(neo) could accomplish on a double dragon machine, haley(trinity) still did not believe in him... that is... until corey(morpheus) made a bet with her that jimmy could kick her arse in double dragon... which he did shortly thereafter.

to sum it up... jimmy is to the videogame world as neo is to the matrix. jimmy knew where the flute was... simple because he just knew.

duh.

in other words... the matrix is a wizard ripoff, except that trinity should have fallen in love with morpheus at the end of the 1st matrix, if it went in the direction as the wizard.

back to the topic...

i bought my little bro sm3 on gba (or whatever the one is called that has a lighted screen now) a few weeks ago, so i sent him the link above. he thought it was pretty cool too.

 

Wow, pretty awesome. What is amazing to me is that he managed to rack up 99 lives while still beating the game as fast as he did. Were it not for those slow scrolling cannon levels, he probably could do it under 5 minutes.

 

I've gotta call BS here...

That game is moving AT LEAST twice (possibly 3 times) as fast as it actually plays.

Anybody ever hear of the word "gullible?"

Hmm.

I thought I saw him with 99 lives about halfway into the video.. then all of the sudden he had like 87..

perhaps he hit a snag and then edited it.

I wouldn't give a crap if he edited all of those levels together though, cause I doubt you could string ALL of those perfect levels together in one sitting.. but that's still amazing..

 

My friend was thinking the same thing, but he thought it was because he never went to the spotlight level, he thinks u have to of played that level... but not 100% sure

but just found out from my friend that you cant get to the 8th level using a flute you have to play the 7th. So the kid must have edited something

 

Not True, I tried it today and it works. But you have to use the Flutes from 1-3 and the first fortress. I think it may have something to do with them both coming from the right side?

 

Btw, i was looking at the vid today, looked at the score between each level and it was indeed not edited.
