Think it would be "do-able" to get both Ming and Butler?

yeah, and Cato has decent d but is rarely focused and is a liability on offense.

Diop? Who knows if he will ever amount to anything.

chances are he'll amount to better than Cato.

You might hate Cato but he has size, athleticism and is a better defender than any of Clevelands centers.

I don't hate Cato, but I have a better idea of his worth than you do, imo. Diop has size and athleticism as well. Cato is not that great a defender and has a questionable work ethic. And Cato has a big contract. Highly doubt Cleveland wants that when they don't even want to pay Miller.

Look at all the ally oops Cato gets from SF. Now put him in Cleveland and think of all the alley oops he would get from Miller who is a lot better passer/assist man than Francis.

wow alley-oops. You think that's an actual selling point?

I'm sure even if Cleveland wanted to trade the pick they could get a MUCH better deal than KT + Cato + #15.

Memphis may trade the #4 pick but we'd sure get a lot more than that ...

Well I think the Rockets still have faith in Mo. He fits in better with the team's offensive scheme in my opinion plus they have good chemistry. KT does seem like an odd man out. That trade sounds alright but I doubt it would happen. It's basically MoT for Butler. Butler might be gone at #5. 15 almost definitely will not have either Nene or Stoudemire. Honestly I'd rather we got one of those two. Who cares how raw they are offensively, we need some toughness. Physical players to grab boards and swat shots a la Ben Wallace are something everyone needs.

Tyrone Hill right now is a better center option than Cato. He's also got a great (ie expiring) contract.

Cavs also have Ziggy. Ziggy is an all-star when healthy (which is the operative term). So, considering they've got 12 million spent on Ziggy, used a lotto pick 2 years ago on Mihm, and a lotto pick last year on Diop, not to mention have Doleac, I don't think Cato would be an intriguing piece for them.

Cleveland will not trade Hill for a guy with a big contract unless that guy is a stud, which a MoTay coming off a season ending injury, is not. Certainly not with the #6 overall.

That Memphis idea is a no go. Wright or Swift alone are better than Cato, and the Grizz wouldn't move down 11 slots in addition to that.

 You must have a really low opinion of Cato.

Or Tyrone Hill is a veteran that started on an NBA finals team a years ago, averaged 10-9 a year ago, and 8-10 this past year, and has a contract that comes off the books at the end of the year.

Whatever man. I don't think there's a gm in the NBA that would rather have Hill over Cato at center. It really doesn't matter what a player has done in the past. It's what can he do now. In the last 5 years he's only played 208 games out of a possible 410. Last year he only played 26 games. Can you say over the HILL?

It really doesn't matter what a team has done in the past either. It's what will improve the team now thats important. In the last two years we drafted Langhi, TMo and traded for Rice. leave out if you want that we drafted Griffin a SF at the time yet we are still looking for a SF.

Cato and the #15 wouldn't pick up Swift or Wright alone.
