I think in more modern issues Flash beats Superman. You can rest in peace. http://www.hyperborea.org/flash/races.html#r1990 (nerd meter, just blew up...)
Good one. Back in the day, dodgeball was as close to the chaos and fear of combat as most of us would ever get. Not coincidentally, some of my classmates still suffer from the dodgeball version of PTSD.
We used to play 4-square (I think everybody has a different name for the game). I remember we used to have a friend who had a gimp leg. We would always try to get him out by using the "swirl" ball... named after the swirl thing in Yar's Revenge, but I digress. Nowadays, we wouldn't be allowed to do that because it would make him feel bad since he couldn't chase the ball fast enough. Back then, we had him floppin' all over the place like a Utah Jazz player in the throes of yet another playoff loss. My generation kept that game real.
My generation hasn't grown up enough to have ruined anything, but those before us sure did ruin the all nude strip club. C'mon!
The generation before mine ruined a good ole fashion child beating. Timeouts? what the hell does that even do??
It makes you 'think about' what you've done. Only thing is, I thought about other ways to get in trouble.
beanie babies I was supposed to pay for my college tuition by selling those when they would appreciate in value after being retired. My generation caught on to this financial investment, TY overproduced, and now there is a negative demand for them.
I don't know what generation you're referring to, but I'm thankful for this one. Pubes are gross. I experienced it right up until my freshman year in high school in 89-90, where I promptly started skipping school, getting into loads of trouble, and getting booted off to military school. We were the "latch-key" kids. The Lost Generation. The first generation to essentially raise ourselves because we were the first generation to be raised with two working parents (or quite often just one, as the divorce rate went to another level with our parents). And people wonder why Gen Xer's have this "screw authority; I'll do it myself" mentality. If that's not rock & roll, I don't know what is.
Generation Y - Popular music Baby Boomers - The future Generation X? I don't think we ruined anything I can think of.
Generation Y (borderline X/Y) ------------------------------------ (ruining) The mainstream record labels (industry) at this very second: Hehehe  - I'm convinced that file-sharing is next to impossible to stop with so many websites; and so many personal connections through emails; web forums; networking sites. While, an artist, these days doesn't necessarily need to sign with a big label to sell records or make bigger as an artist. The NBA (Generation X players were considered over paid, whiny, sensitive brats to begin with, then Y people came and viola) The concept of anonymity Gen Y's parents and critics ruined Saturday Morning cartoons or children cartoons, because they thought most were lacking in educational material level and filled with too much violence (and promoted war and violence as justifiable means to the end in their undertones) and sometimes adult level humor, yet the crap I see on network Television or local stations on Saturday Morning makes wish a f#cking Holocaust will come down end society, because of sheer stupidity. Who wants to watch a show about a damn lamb; or some guy dressed up as Cowboy? Oh, yeah I would rather watch Heathcliff; Silverhawks; Transformers; and even the old version of Care Bears over another mind numbing educational show or worse; Infomercials. But we generation X/Y-kids returned the favor by ruining the innocence and purity in video games with our lust for blood in games like Mortal Kombat; Narc; Doom; Quake; Robocop vs. The Terminator; The House of the Dead; Resident Evil; and etc. Gender Roles; you can assume any role you want to, that's a liberty
