A movie shoot? A gang style shoot? A tiny tree shoot? A shoot, IE, a group of hunters? Shooting a goal in Soccer (futbol)? Was there a river with rapids and were people shooting it? Shooting pain? (she probably had this) Shooting drugs? (like that guy's prostitute) ....very confusing. Please elaborate.
In high school I played trombone in the Kashmere Stage Band, it was like "Whiplash" but with more violence and black people. lol If you've ever heard of the band, you'll really appreciate this story. After my sophomore year I dedicated an entire summer to learning to play a complicated bass guitar solo on the tuba. The senior drummer hated that I'd managed to master the thing because my song replaced the song in competition in which he was featured. He did everything possible to trip me up even though I'd won just about every individual high school jazz award there was that year. He complained to our band director about its authenticity and even went as far as to threaten to fight me if I didn't stop doing it. In our final competition of the year we performed at the TSU jazz festival. It was, at the time, the most popular and well attended high school jazz festival in the state. The original bass guitar tempo was around 80, the band director jacked it up to 100 for the tuba but for that competition the drummer played it at around 125 just so I could screw up before the 1500 or so people that sat in that auditorium. I'm sure he thought that to play syncopation, triplets and complicated scales at that speed on a tuba was virtually impossible. I didn't screw up. My standing ovation drowned out what the band played for most of the remainder or the song. I wished for well over 20 years that I had the video of how that audience exploded during and after that solo. I won "Most outstanding musician" for that festival and the drummer took credit for it saying that if he hadn't pushed me I would have never won at TSU. Years later he applied to play drums at my church and asked me to hook him up as if the incident never happened. I took as much pleasure in hiring him as I did firing him a few months later because of the same selfish attitude that he'd displayed years earlier.
