    Me too Kagy!

Except I find it amazing how two people can feel so differently about things.

Arrogant people who think they know it all.

Some of our unit used to get to Saigon once in awhile, usually to either transport a bodybag or two (most of the time we were either on LRRP or huddled in our hootches at the firebase.

Anyway, what used to really piss me off was going into the city after our task was complete, wearing "hand-me down" fatigues and our worn boots. And we see a bunch of REMFs wearing clean, starched Tiger BDUs and jungle boots, things we rarely got in the field. The only blood most of those guys had ever seen was when they cut themselves shaving. A lot of the choice R&R slots, like Hawaii and Australia, went to the REMFs as well, because they heard about them long before we did, and good get to the head of the line.

Only thing worse than the REMFs were the politicans running the war and the draft dodgers who jeered us when we came home.

"Who Wants To Be A Rocket?" - and probably a millionaire as well. The off-season will be interesting!
