And the referee said: It's my turn... It's my turn.... get the hell out of my man.

He was using the money thing to differentiate himself as a veteran (veteran=getting paid : 2nd year player=rookie contract). He was saying it merely to needle Magloire. Lighten up. He stood up for his boy. If there is a threat of big Mo taking it personal perhaps everyone will lay off Yao a bit.

I agree the rest of Mo's quotes were right on. Mo T isn't that great of a player at this point, but he is very likeable and always well spoken.

Maybe this is the beginning of Mo T taking it all personally and beginning to realize his potential and thus his contract.

Whichever way you put it, the money thing was a stupid and classless thing to say. Who knows, maybe he talked like that to KT as well and THAT is why KT was always so pissed when the contract issue was mentioned.

I like the part about sticking up for his teammate Yao Ming, but he could have done that without having made that stupid remark about money.

I agree about the money, the implications of the wording are that Mo is satisfied now that he got his contract, which would explain his getting fat in the off season, and his game sucking A$$ this year.

The problem with the Rocks is they are soft, up and down the lineup they are a soft team.

Francis, Mobley, Rice, EG, Yao, etc...are all finese players.

They need a tough guy to get them motivated to play defense, maybe Posey will be that guy...

    We can only hope.

I like the act of Mo. I do not like Yao gets pushed and punched like a hell, falling to the floor or bleeding. Yao also needs to be more intimidating. Team's win is as important as public image.

It was a classless thing to say? Here's some 3rd year player calling himself a big man, and Mo's the little man. This is Mo putting him in his place. "Getting his contract done" is equivalent to getting off his rookie contract (ie, being in the league 4 years). It goes back to what Mo was saying in other quotes that I've seen on TV- he knew Magloire wasn't looking for a fight (because he can't afford one), Magloire was just trying to stir things up, which was a pretty weak thing to do.

Calling the Rockets front court dirty is a classless thing to say, and beyond that, puzzling. Griffin=dirty? Taylor=dirty? Rice=dirty? Cato, the guy some have called a schizo=dirty? We're not in Utah anymore.

I remember a quote a couple years ago when Steve got that weak flagrant called on him and said something like "the guys all know it was a pretty weak call, maybe they'll chip in and help me pay for it" to which Cuttino responded something to the extent "No way we're paying for. Steve will get his big payday soon enough."

DaDakota-You think Mo has been complacent this year? He's frustrated that his legs still aren't fully under him. He's playing with enough fire- look at the NO game, not letting himself/Yao get pushed around, and slamming something fierce on Robert Traylor.

Hmm....WELL I THINK THAT MO TAYLOR DID A GOOD JOB BY STEPPING UP FOR YAO.

But why talk about how much money he is earning? Anyways...Magloire is stupid too cuz he said Taylor was a little boy? Taylor could whoop his little 245 pound butt.

LOL...we're dirty!!! Oh my god...that's sad. Look at the Utah Jazz. See who's dirty. That was another dumb comment by Magloire.

Anyways...dont' respond to me because I always make dumb comments. :)
