I hate this, and many times the coupon is only valid "with additional $20 purchase." Like if I want to buy steak on sale, I should be able to run in and just pick up the steak. I don't want to have to force buy a bunch of stuff I don't want just to get what I want on sale. HEB is so damn overrated in every which way. If I have to cross post in the unpopular opinions thread, I will.
Meh, they’re good. They have awesome tortillas. But, like Buccees, they’re way overrated. I remember when the first one came to SugarLand and was across from the Albertsons, we went to Albertsons because they carried the SoftBatch cookies and HEB never had. Not cool.
Have we mentioned radio ads using sirens? Cause that annoys the hell out of me. You're driving along and start to look for an emergency vehicle before you realize it's some stupid ad. Should be outlawed.
“Hi ———— This isn't to ask you for money (trust me, I get them too). I'm a volunteer w/ the Democrats. This election will likely come down to a field margin, aka the % of votes we can sway through organizing & talking with voters. We are behind call goals right now. Can you join us to make calls to voters today? stop to end Get started here: —————“ The nerve to not only get text messages, but they want me to start calling people too!
At the risk of D&D territory here but at this point whatever it takes. I hate cold calls and door knocking but signed up to get out the vote door knocking this week in Western WI. It will be over in a 10 days.
Imagine Dragons. I find their music very annoying and had hoped their run was over but still hear commercials with their music.
This is a real problem in MN. Also driving at the speed limit or slower in the passing lane. I remember getting into an argument with a Minnesotan about that who insisted it was good driving because the speed limit was the same in either lane.
what speed should people be driving in the passing lane? and how much over the speed limit is acceptable?
Slower traffic should not be in the passing lane. That is relative to the flow of traffic. So if people happen to be driving faster than the speed limit as a driver you should still be in the right hand lane. Even the MN DOT has put signs saying slower traffic should stay in the right lane.
Every single time I go to HEB website they say that "my store" is in Victoria, TX and then I have to manually change it.
Sorry I didn’t see this post earlier. generally 10 miles over the speed limit is acceptable and police will rarely ticket for this, outside of speed traps or school zones.
