Ok every year I wind up buying a new pair of gloves that either don't protect me from cold or do protect me from cold but are so damn bulky i have to take them off just to take out my wallet.

Is there any really thin material gloves? Something made out of thermal or underarmour cold gear material?

what kind of gloves are those? the kind the QBs wear in cold weather actually would probably be exactly what I'm looking for. if I cant get those the I'm going with the tactical gloves.

I agree with this. I remember last January we had a big snow/ice storm here and I got stuck in a neighborhood (see this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=124026). Me and another guy who also got stuck began pushing cars that also got stuck in the weather. We ended up having to push a few cop cars too. One of the cops got out and offered us some gloves as we kept on pushing people as long as we returned them. I think he said they were made of something called neoprene (Spelling right?). They worked great especially spending 2 hours out there and then having to walk a mile home. Go with them.
