Ok every year I wind up buying a new pair of gloves that either don't protect me from cold or do protect me from cold but are so damn bulky i have to take them off just to take out my wallet. Is there any really thin material gloves? Something made out of thermal or underarmour cold gear material?
i would laugh except my hands were so cold this morning I couldn't even read my newspaper while waiting for the subway
I've used these (plus waterproof shells) for ice-climbing and they kept my hands pretty toasty. http://www.patagonia.com/web/us/pro...ws=false&patcatcode=SEARCH.SEARCH_TERM:GLOVES
what kind of gloves are those? the kind the QBs wear in cold weather actually would probably be exactly what I'm looking for. if I cant get those the I'm going with the tactical gloves.
I agree with this. I remember last January we had a big snow/ice storm here and I got stuck in a neighborhood (see this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=124026). Me and another guy who also got stuck began pushing cars that also got stuck in the weather. We ended up having to push a few cop cars too. One of the cops got out and offered us some gloves as we kept on pushing people as long as we returned them. I think he said they were made of something called neoprene (Spelling right?). They worked great especially spending 2 hours out there and then having to walk a mile home. Go with them.
