Mistake? why? Isn't he currently the 4th or 5th striker on Barca's depth chart? I don't think he has the ability to play consistently at a high level in Europe anymore (and he is 32). The guy has already made tons of money, he will still make a decent amount in the MLS, not to mention he will be able to play at a high level here, something he would be unable to do in Europe.
