Hint hint - Lin merch is still for sale in the Rockets team story so naturally that's a sign that he is coming back...

Interesting. The other Bulls players were fine under Thibs.

Clyde walks through that door every home game. Hakeem and TMac also come around once a while.

The offensive system is NOT a gimmick. I wish people would cease with that stupidity. The issue is we lack the players for the offensive system to be successful; good shooters.

In before off topic Lin talks.

I would love Thibs on this team, if we fix our defense and somehow rejuvenate our offense back to normal, we could be another GS.

But why on earth would Thibs suddenly be able to coach well offensively? Doesn't make any sense. JVG and Thibs' teams have always been and most likely will always be offensively challenged.

I really don't understand this mindset. Thibs and JVG are what I call dead end coaches. You know the core defect before you get it and you know exactly how it will end: tired players not responding to the coach, offense in shambles, defense great but not enough to get into elite team status, relationship between GM and coach destroyed.

Moreover, hiring a purely defensive coach in 2015? Given the direction of the league? The offense played by Cavs, Spurs, Warriors and Hawks is generating huge results. Are the Hawks the second most talented team in the East? NO, it's the coaching that is yielding the most out of the players they have.

Nah, sorry. When it comes to players, you can have guys who suck on one side of the court occasionally but with coaches you need a guy who knows both sides of the court or a guy who doesn't have a stubborn personality hence giving up X's and O's duy to assistants. If Thibs came in and said he doesn't want front office duties and he's willing to hiring an offensive co-ordinator of the organizations' choice then I'd be all for it. But that's not Thibs, he wouldn't accept that and we know it.

I guess it's just not my kind of offense.

I would rather attack the basket on a 3 on 1 break instead of launching threes.....but that's just me I guess.
