What is the fascination with Scott Brooks? He sucks. It really isn't that hard to win a lot of games with Durant, Ibaka, Harden, and Westbrook.
BREAKING NEWS to these teams: Kevin Durant is not signing with your team because you hired Scott Brooks. He's signing with Houston because he believes he can win with James Harden. He's signing with Washington because he believes he can win with John Wall & Bradley Beal (and maybe because it's home). He's signing/re-signing with Golden State/San Antonio/Oklahoma City because he believes that gives him his best chance for a championship.
He's the Brian Hill of the modern era.... he'll get another gig, fail, and then be a career assistant (or out of the league after).
Ah man...seems like JVG is the closest to being our Coach.. I have said it many times, I didn't like him as a coach, his system was boring and stubborn. He is a pretty good analyst with some bias towards the Rockets and thats cool. I hope he changed some of his thinking strategies, because I really don't want the JVG from 10 years ago.

Fair enough, you have a point that the Warriors are likely to embarrass other teams beyond us on their playoff run. I just feel that it wouldn't make much of a difference to FAs. The major pull will be making a new Big Three and that will be our major pitch. Agree with this. If Brooks was a coach like say Phil Jackson then yes...but he hasn't won anything. I doubt Durant or any FA thinks that they MUST play with Brooks.

Looks as though we "lost" control. Thibs got his way. The keys, the players, the future. Guess Rockets MGMT wanted a spare key.

Washington offered Brooks the job. Are they this excited about Brooks or are they ultra confident in his ability to pull Durant in?
