Harden was a +11 in 34 minutes. That means the team was -15 in the 14 minutes that Harden sat. How dare Harden not play 48 minutes!!!!!!
Harden is saying he wants his teammates to continue to play they way they do and that they will eventually suceed if they stick to their strengths. The "You got to encourage them to stick with it" part completely changes the meaning of the statement.
Yeah, make the bbs crowd happy. Trade Dwight and James for young players and picks who don't smile too much, party or date celebrities. Every time we lose another game the bbs crowd can then be happy. If we can't have the happiness of 30 and 2 we can then experience the happiness of 2 and 30 and fantasizing about the next 15 year superstar we might draft as everything in between means we cannot be happy or cheer for the Rockets.
Hey Glynch we are 16-18 on the way to 16-19 tomorrow - not sure what is so good to be happy about, we are on that mediocre treadmill again. And the only reason is effort, or lack of it by our players. DD
The thread is completely in context. Harden wants to give role players courage and motivation and make them do better. Creators never follow. Why can't Morey find some courageous motivated role players?
This is the one of the biggest differences this year from last year. Last year the Rox made the key shots that decided games. This year they don't make them in the crunch and loose over and over again. Harden can't make these shots for his teammates unfortunately. They goota hit the open shot and easy ass layups. This problem also impacts and demoralizes the rockets play on defense by default..especially transition defense...especially when playing teams like the Warriors that make them pay
Nothing at all. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Iguodala got 2 dunks just by easily beating the Rockets down the floor after normal rebounds <a href="https://t.co/s5YYmP96yM">pic.twitter.com/s5YYmP96yM</a></p>— Ethan Strauss (@SherwoodStrauss) <a href="https://twitter.com/SherwoodStrauss/status/683038191121612800">January 1, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
This literally gives not a single ounce of context to anything. Context is not one person's article with a quote and no question. I am amazed you think this is different than what OP posted.
The good news is that I can effectively quote someone else's post with my terrible reading comprehension. So what question was asked that made him give that answer and what was he talking about prior to that? That'd be the context.
Let us face it. We are mediocre in the West but this year if we were in the East we would be near the bottom with this record. #ECbeatsWC
