Not only that, if you look at that list of top 25, can you name me one other elite, non third world, country on that list. And Yes Russia is about as close to third world then it is elite.

Id venture a wager, that there are more murders commited in DC/Detroit/Philly/LA then there are Terrorist claims of American livers over the last 10 years by a landfall.

 

You have got to be joking. They only have stats for 62 countries, meaning 24th puts the US near the middle, a bit above the median (31st). The rate in the US is as close to those 30 ranks behind them as it is to those 6 ranks ahead. The US is certainly not in the 88th percentile for murders in the world. You are either having trouble figuring out the site I linked to or are being deliberately obtuse.

 

Actually 24th puts us closer to the top third then the middle. Either you are exaggerating for your lack of correctness or you sir are being obtuse.


Either way, Like I said. More then MOST.

 

24th out of 62 translates to 61.3th percentile. Using that pompous tricky Dick "51% is a mandate" Cheney's logic, that would be a super mega ultra majority.

Either find a better source with more complete list of countries (193 total according to UN) or allow both you and I to do a little poetic license with the stats (you linked).
