We'll at least the truth is coming out. You don't *want* to root for McGrady. Not really. But, you'll root for the Rockets because you are a Rocket fan (which I do believe). Ok...So, what you are saying is that you liked Francis soooooo much that you are willing to point out McGrady's ignorant comments. This makes sense. I never saw you post a thread where Francis said dumb things. You just defended him; blinded love.

As far as McGrady...will I defend him? No! In the end, his comments don't matter. It's all about what he does ON THE COURT! And if doesn't play well, then I will bash McGrady (same with Yao). No player is immune. Because I wont let my "love" of a player blind me of common sense (play well receive complements, play bad receive criticism -- simple). Play bad for 5 years, and receive wrath!

I really believe that you don't want McGrady to play well. Because that would validate everything -- negative -- we've been telling you about Francis -- things that you refused to acknowledge. Also remember that most of the "OHHH! DID FRANCIS SAY THAT?" threads were after Francis had been playing in Houston for 4-5 years. We already knew about his game. If McGrady plays bad for the next 4-5 year, he too will receive criticism on everything he does/says.

But, McGrady has yet to play ONE game with the Rockets and you bring out "LOOKY WHAT HE SAID" thread. Aren't we jumping the gun here? At little too an anxious to see him fail? Hmmm?

What darkwarrior is saying is that "ignorant rant" is never used to talk about players you like! I don't think you would ever post a thread about Francis and use words like "ignorant" or "rant" to describe him.

You might use phrases like, "Francis was telling it like it is." Or "Francis speaks his mind." or "Francis concerned about management."

    Never "rant" or "ignorant."

By the way, I think that Jeff post is right.

You guys are so freaking clueless!!!!!

Can't you see that T-Mac is COMPLIMENTING the Magic organization???

    Its a double negative!!!!

Way to use the english language to mess with people's heads, T-Mac!!!! Maybe you can fake out Kobe next season while trash talking....

T-Mac dribbles up to Kobe and spews out, "You can't handle no T-Mac crossover dribble!!!"

Kobe, who has problem with the double negative in other ways (hard to compute "no means no"), freezes in confusion while T-mac zips by him and slams it home!!!! BOOOO-YAAAH!!!

I can understand his bitterness but I would much rather that he just put the whole affair behind him and signed an extension with the Rox. As things now stand, he can still opt out next year which would be a disaster for Houston.

In addition to Weisbrod's comments, McGrady claims that the Magic never even came out and said that they wanted him to stay in Orlando. They just asked him for a decision about whether he would opt out or not.

There's a thread here that was started while the regular season was still going that began speculation that T-Mac was gone from Orlando and that's where the first T-Mac for Francis began.

But the focus of the thread was Orlando calling T-Mac out publically for "dogging it". If you have any desire to keep your franchise player who has an opt-out clause it was a stupid move.

Weisbrod's parting shots were probably the most self-serving comments I've ever heard and as DoD says T-Mac has every right to defend himself against those allegations.

I can't believe so many people here are defending the Orlando organization. If the Rockets had done to Steve what Orlando did to T-Mac people here would have trashed CD, Alexander and everybody in the organization.

Orlando tripped at every step and that's why T-Mac's here.

Well, we were certainly NOT going to get there with SF and Co.

Tmac at least gives us a new look.
