I wasn't trying to lump you into anything. For the record, I do believe you aren't a Trump supporter and appreciate most of your posts even when I disagree with them. My only hope is that since I believe you are someone on the right-wing of politics but in an informed and reason-based approach, I would hope you would take measures to distance yourself from the idiots on your side of the aisle with whom I know you disagree.
I find your inability to call Trump out for being part of this mess inexcusable - and he is the MAGA bomber - that is what people are calling him, and it 100% fits the bill. Don't like it, vote out the idiot at the top that is causing people to act this way. DD
I find Trumps rhetoric very troubling. I have stated that plenty of times. Its the one thing that keeps me from getting behind Trump. It is also why I couldn't vote for him, even when I found Hillary just as despicable. Its also why I keep harping on the Democrats to focus on finding a respectable candidate instead of individuals who's policy is to only b**** and moan about Trump. If that is the only qualification needed to be President, then half of America would qualify. This is where most of us here find common ground, even the conservatives such as Bobby. Where I disagree with many of you is the bar of acceptable behavior. As I stated, a rotten apple is a rotten apple, regardless if its 100%, 75%, or 50%. There is a bar that should be unacceptable for all. This includes calling Americans 'a basket of deplorables'. I dont need to support a 75% rotten apple because the other one is 100%. Nor should you. Additionally, since you feel you must call me out for not constantly berating Trump, there have been plenty of incidents where politicians should have never delved into situations. One most of us can agree on is politicians like Maxine Waters needs to be voted out of office. Then there are others, in which many of you will defend, such as Obamas "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon" and the whole beer summit. Comments and situations like these serve to divide and anger. If someone wants a model on how to handle racial issues, look to Kaepernick (before he sold out to Nike). We need to start calling out all politicians for the divisive behavior, not just the ones who are not on our team.
Joke's on you! Ever since @Os Trigonum started posting articles from the Federalist, I started checking it out and found this beauty which I just reposted as a poll: http://thefederalist.com/2018/04/10/time-united-states-divorce-things-get-dangerous/ I copied his right wing idea and put it in this here forum - and you fell right into it.
When you include things like the "beer summit", it really shows how tribal you are and why your "both sides are the same" shtick is laughable.
Odd... you find trump's rhetoric "troubling". I find the Rockets lack of size "troubling." I find trump's rhetoric dangerous. And we are seeing it play out this week. But for someone that complains that others only criticize members of the "other team"... read what you wrote. You complain about Democrats not presenting better candidates. You complain about Democrats delving into situations they shouldn't. You point to Democrats that who should be voted out of offices. You want change? Your "team" controls all three branches of the government. Start there...
You're full of crap. You've had a year and a half to denounce behavior and all you've routinely done is trash posters and prop up your both sides nonsense. You have zero credibility. None. Get a clue,
It's hilarious that Space Cadet takes so much offense to the very minor goofs from Obama and thinks all the racist and sexist things Trumps says is comparable. Man is nuts. Next thing he is going to call you violent
