I don't really believe this, birth rates are slowing across the board. It doesn't really matter anyway since our country isn't majority ruled - it's counter-majority ruled due to the shitty way our insitutions are set up. If we were majority ruled we'd have had Democratic Presidents and legislatures for most of the last 30 years, there'd be no filibuster, no courts making up their own laws, etc.
It does though - this is basically the "We can do ****ing anything we want and you can't stop us" supreme court opinion - I mean the author of the opinion's wife tried to overthrow the government last year, and he's just laughing about it and trying to rule on her case!

I have heard this reasoning before. White people have more means than minorities. So white people will be able to leave the state to have abortions or will be in a position to pay people to have safer abortions. Minorities are more likely to not be in a position to have abortions. I don't think that it will really play out that way though. I suspect that the belief from some on the pro-life side of the equation is that we will see larger white families, especially if they attempt to restrict contraceptives, (which sounds insane but anything is on the table). What I personally believe is that what this REALLY does is it reinforces social order, where poor people and women will not be able to socially move up because they will not have the resources that the upper crust will have.
Again how does this affect high income individuals? If anything this only drives poor, uneducated people into deeper poverty and creating a more desperate workforce that will produce for less money.
