One thing we should've tried to do in the fourth quarter was..... .... play any semblance of competitive basketball.
So the answer is clearly no. You don’t know how they got that nickname lol. Which championship team blows big leads in the second half of big games??? Hmmmmmmm...... I wonder .... lol
Me too I am very invested in tonites game I am missed and angry I am calming down but I ain't happy..... Rocket River
'Clutch City' was the comeback... after being 'Choke City'... it was about battling back after enduring losses... We'll see if this team is up to the challenge...
Then stop Crying so much as if it’s the end of the world. You’re obviously not that confident in what you posted.
The road gets a lot harder.... yeah the rockets have been clicking the last 2 and a half months but this loss is crushing and it doesn’t give me nor a lot of people it seems any confidence at the moment.
And that’s simply called being dramatic. It’s one thing to bring up concerns but to say the rockets won’t even make it past the 1st round etc is just nonsense What’s so crushing about it. It’s the last game of a regular season. They loss. So what. They still move onto the playoffs fully healthy. Yet somehow that equates to rockets aren’t winning a playoff series.
I don’t got confidence in them honestly if they’re gonna blow leads. It’s been a theme all year long.
People truly underestimate how likely CP3 is to be injured in a deep playoff run. Not to be dramatic. But it’s 50/50. Many of us have been advocating for an early GSW matchup. This loss sucks because it was that last minute blow a big lead variety. Or because some people were still holding out hope Harden might win an MVP. But in terms of the playoffs ... they need to see GSW earlier... and if that means they’re out earlier, so be it. DM didn’t do a good job last summer. This would give him time to ponder that, lol
If you didn’t you would have no problem putting money on it. But obviously something is telling you no so there you have it.
Definitely a valid concern jay. But imo cp3 has become much more conscious at this point of his career. Especially knowing how good this team is when fully healthy and what can be done. There’s no doubt there’s a huge fire in him as a result of what happened a year ago. He has taken this season for what it’s worth and I think we’ll see the cp3 turn it on as usual here when it counts starting Saturday/Sunday
Too much drama for a regular season game. Honestly, the Rockets could beat any playoff opponent, and they could lose to any playoff opponent, 1-8. However, that has nothing to do with what happened in this game, it’s all about how they play in the playoffs. If they flame out in the first round, it will be because they play sh*tty in 4 playoff games, not because they lost a regular season game. But hey, the Thunder celebrated like they won the championship. As Lord John Whorfin said: “May I pass along my congratulations for your great interdimensional breakthrough. I am sure, in the miserable annals of the Earth, you will be duly enshrined.”
