going back 23 years, friends (who were fans of other teams) and i used to clown each other: "haha hubie's working your game tonite, have a great evening"
You know what I used to give him the benefit of the doubt.... **** Hubie hope his old ass..... you know what... merry Christmas yall
No he doesn't. I've seen him cheer for teams that were getting blown out because they were playing like trash.. I do agree Rockets were garbage to close the game though.
Not entirely true. I keep hearing this narrative so I’ve made it a priority to listen when he calls our game and when we were down tonight by 3, then by 5 and they 7 not ONE time did I hear Hubie talk about what we needed to start doing to make up the deficit. Conversely he moaned about OKC not getting back and holding the 7 point lead and letting Harden push his way to the basket. Let’s just say it, Brown is old school and doesn’t care for our offense one bit so with that known he’s going to lean against us for the simple fact that he doesn’t buy in to what we’re doing so y’all can knock it off that he roots for the underdog, maybe others but not us.
I’m pretty sure he said “There ya go” for an Eric Gordon 3 in the fourth period. A conniving ruse to make him seem impartial?
He is senile. Makes the very obvious statements and then rambles on about them. Him and Doug Collins... Turds that need to step away.
The old mofos didnt even mention that we were down cp3 and luc mbah. If it was the other team injured players, it would have probably being repeated many times. Trying to make us look bad on national tv Media conspiracy !!!!
I have always argued that he is a terrible broadcaster, and contributes absolutely nothing to a game. He does not provide any insight that someone who's followed basketball for a few months couldn't provide. It was cringeworthy hearing him get off over Westbrook's assist to Adams on a pass through the key, seemingly ignoring the 8 Harden passes exactly like that which had already occurred throughout the game. How he suggest that OKC need to take Harden in the post was laughable, he obviously is not aware that is the only place Harden excels on defense. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the majority of MVP voters based their vote on broadcasts, considering how good Westbrook played tonight compared to Harden - based on the commentator's choice of words throughout.
I am muting the vol I am sick and tired of the old has been hubie there you go on our enemies always Why he still get gigs man Badmouthing my rockets always
