I hope so, but I ain't holding my breath. This looks like the Utah series from 2008 all over again. The Rockets will probably win Game 5, maybe even in a blowout. But Game 6 I expect Portland to play their best overall game of the series and close out the Rockets.

 

i agree. memphis has played OKC too tough to just lay down.

I was hoping Portland had some minor injury not the likes of Westbrook last year. I can't help it though. Their bench is thin.

They've been lucky with the injury bug this season, but we're not exactly banged up right now either. Other than Bev, is anyone on the Rockets playing with a serious injury? Dwight's ankle looks fine. Asik is fine. Harden's ankle and foot seem ok. Parsons and Lin's backs are ok.

Our depth is comparable to theirs. We just have too many guys playing like garbage right now, especially in the 4th quarter. That's why I'm not optimistic about a Game 7. Hell, right now I'm not even too certain about a Game 6.

 

I've learned for almost the last 15 years or so just to keep my expectations really low for this team. It helps tremendously. With that said, I'm sure glad I didn't post during or right after the game.

 

Would not surprise me. The percentage of coming back and win it after going 1-3 should be less than 1.99%.

 

honestly the rockets need to build a lead and hold on to it for us to win. Letting it go down to the wire means we will lose. They seems to have players that step up big and make miracle shots, we have those too but there's have stepped up more.

 

IF there is a game 7, I may actually fork out some money and contribute this site.

Sucks that we lost last night but if before game 3 we knew we needed at least one game over there and we got. The series is still alive which was the Rockets intent to get the series back to Houston. The team needs to be focused on game 5 only at the moment which I am expecting to be a blowout, especially if the TT keep being solid throughout the game. Worry about game 6 once you get there.

On a more serious note, I would love to have the opportunity to win this series, but I just don't see it happening.
