Yao Ming was dedicated and had more heart than Tracy.
Rockets fans, the real ones, know that. So you'll never see subject here.

I have a feeling Dwight will pan out better as a rocket, he respects the legacy here.

Thanks you just made me throw up. Mcgrady and heart don't belong in the same building cause they never were.

If McGrady never showed heart in the Toronto game, Yao never showed heart in the entire Utah series. If you switch Yao and McGrady on that 2009 team it would've been the same result if not better.

That was not heart. That showed what T-Mac was capable of if he always played with heart. Guy was a low effort, no-heart loser.

So he played with heart on that night right? And Yao was on his teams too by that logic, so you call him a loser too? If Yao had not gotten dominated by the foot-shorter Boozer in Game 7 would we have won?

Why is it that I'm on my edge of my seat with Harden's effort/heart on a nightly basis but with tmac I never felt like I was?

Yao never lacked heart. It was just a horrible matchup for him.

No one with even half a brain ever questioned Yao's work ethic, effort, and commitment. These same questions trailed T-Mac everywhere he went and for good reason, because the guy was a loser diva that half-assed it a lot of times. Yao was the epitome of hard worker. Unfortunately, he also had some bad match ups. People don't hate on Yao even though he had way more injuries than T-Mac because he was a consummate professional and hard worker. T-Mac was neither of those things and when his talent finally couldn't backup his mouth, his time was up.

And injuries never played a role with both stars? Their talent just ran out. Sure.

    LOL

How tall is Boozer? Like 6'9? Yao is what 7'6? How the hell is it possible that Boozer gets every offensive rebound late while Yao gets thrown around by a guy he should DOMINATE?

Yao was injured far more than T-Mac and no one hates on him like so many hates on T-Mac. Ever wonder why? Fans (smart ones at least) understand and sympathize when players get injured. That's not their fault. T-Mac's fault was always running his mouth, not playing with heart most of the time (face it, he coasts most games), and the most disgusting sin of all, giving up on the team during a game. Remember that time when he insisted he was healthy?

The guy got hurt, it didn't work out for us, move on. The fact that people booed him his last couple trips to Toyota Center was just ridiculous.

He wasn't booed because he was injured. T-Mac booed because of his antics when he was wearing Rockets red. If Yao was traded and came back, he would have received a standing ovation. Don't get **** twisted.

Lol im a fan of tmac not gonna lie but the level of Delusional ism you people have with your hate is ridiculous.

Please explain how a guy who upped his play and will in every area come playoff time become the guy with no heart?
Yet a 7 and a half footer cannot grab a damn rebound or out play the guy who is nearly a foot shorter then him, becomes known as a mismatch.

I cringe every tipoof hoping harden plays defense or atleast tries and hustle ir atleast not play isoball. Do yall not see that? If rocket plans dont go to 'plan', you guys will surely blast harden far more then you do tracy.

Really? His talent ran out so he couldn't play anymore?
Lord! Injuries absolutely had nothing to do with it huh?

Whats funny is when you guys cant come up with a response for my points you refer to criticize the coulda shoulda if part where all we are trying to get at is a lot of things played out could have been different as we all know.

Again... for those who can't read. T-Mac was not hated because of injuries. People would hate Yao, Sampson, and others if that is the case. People hate on T-Mac because:

    - He QUIT on the Rockets, in the middle of the game no less
    - He was a diva, which was bearable as long as his walk talked the talk
    - He had no work ethic and was poorly motivated during rehab
    - He was not a leader despite wanting to be treated like one
    - He lied constantly about being ready and being completely recovered

Yao Ming could grab rebounds. He had trouble with with smaller faster bigs who could front him, but that is mainly the fault of our PG's not being able to get the ball to him fast enough. This is called a mismatch. You remember when traditional centers try to guard him 1v1? Yao destroyed them! There is a reason we brought is a SF to make entry passes. Remember Battier? Also, can't grab a rebound? That is freaking hilarious! Guy is almost a career 20/10 player for crying out loud.

Again, for T-Mac fans too stupid to read. No one hated T-Mac because of injuries. People hated T-Mac for all the dumb as **** things he did as a Rocket. When his talent was able to sustain his talk, people TOLERATED T-Mac. Once his play could no longer keep up with his mouth and ego, there was no reason to tolerate him. It's like trying to pretend to like your ex-mother-in-law after a divorce.

Funny thing is you only bring up these reasons when we defend him, the rest of the time you guys are like

he hava no heart bang bang bang he do nota try/

Was he or was he not injured and playing on one leg in the toronto game?
Did the bucks reverse dunk not show you that?
He was a diva all his career and a talker, when he was beasting it was not looked at but the guy was a francis and a a.i
an emotional guy who said the first thing on his mind.

I guess you didn't watch that series.

Heart is not stats, heart is effort. Yao never lacked effort.

    Maybe this article :

Yeah, this the leader of the team? Heart? No.

Did this lead to any championships? MVPs? DPOYs? Western Conference Finals? even a semi final?

People didn't forget it. It just was one regular season game. Against the Spurs, you think they give a rats ass with all those championships when McGrady was playing with us? Oh Hell No

If you are a Rockets fan and look up in the stadium, you'll see the real accomplishments that meant something.

20 million bucks a year, and all you remember is one regular season, freak game. sad.

Look at the Miami or Laker fans or even the Mavericks, Spurs, look what they got.

    Championships.
