Oh geez, Nostradammit's at it again. Now he's mating with "femaile" posters. I can't tell if that's a typo or a clue. Please God, get this off-season overwith. Who was the guy that wanted clues in the first place? I'll moyda 'im... ------------------ "Now it is more clear that it doesn't make sense." -- HeyPeeism at its convoluted best.
He will be chosen because he will be talented, not because he's got potential but because he can play! Ok. This 1 is a big give-away. We're not gonna draft some high schooler or some guy that will only be ready to contribute in a few years like Ousmanne Cisse for 1. We'll draft someone based on how good they are now! It seems as though the press is high on Rad from Euro - they have good reason! DUNK....ON......RAD!!! We're gettin RADman. Tale of two Ken's! What a great read!! What?? ------------------ PrEsident of The Danforth Langhford FAN CLUB... He IS our future All-Star Small Forward
Tale of two Ken's... hmm... technically we have a Ken in Kenny Thomas. Or... Kenny Smith is coming back!!! Yay! ------------------ "Now it is more clear that it doesn't make sense." -- HeyPeeism at its convoluted best.
I guess heyp hit a nerve. The Rockets get Webber for that malarkey that happened concerning the 6? Yippee! The Rockets were going to burden themselves w/ KVH??? Gross! Fine, just teach him how to ****ing rebound. Does Rudy have one of those cars that bounces? Well that didn't exactly leave us hanging. Clutch had a comment that kind of disappeared on the front page (hot), and then Chicago makes him sound cold... compared to Hunter. If we can find the cutest player in the bunch, we figure out Doc's taste in women (and men I guess). Well, people have been talking about Chicago and NJ for a while. Puff the Magic Dragon. Tres interessant. Or are you insinuating that Puff our local poster is in the know. I always thought that guy was the Hoochie guy from Dallas. ------------------ girl you looks good won't you mock that draft up?!
It's more likely that Johnson played well in the private workout here, but sucked in Chicago against average talent. Damnit, I can't figure out the 3rd team! ------------------ [This message has been edited by tacoma park legend (edited June 11, 2001).]
Achebe-Or maybe, the Puff refers to Puff Daddy --> Shaq Daddy ---> Baby Shaq I thought I'd repost rockbox's ideas, since he seemed to be mentioned by name. I'm just posting commentary. By the way, it's page 2 for those interested. He must be talking about grant hill in a three way trade. Maybe with Webber involved I think this shandon anderson or Cato. I think Cato. Someone we want to get rid of This is definitely the Wizard. He very popular on the team but does not fit in This refers to moving up in the draft and getting battier. Maybe by giving up draft picks or role players we may not want to really lose. The up in the air stuff is about jordan and his possible comeback with Chucky and Hakeem. I think if jordan comes back, Dream is gone for sure. Getting new friends reference is either grant hill or webber. Best friend is Hakeem. If we want to get who we really want, we hype the other players so other teams pick them and we can pick the one we really want. That is why we are hyping the European. Doc thinks its obvious what the rockets want. ------------------ "I think alot of people find Cato's game to be very offensive." -aelliott, comparing the offensive skills of Kelvin Cato and Michael Olowokandi [This message has been edited by NIKEstrad (edited June 11, 2001).]
ohhhhhhhhh Nike... that sort of rockbox. Heypartner, that's gross. Have you been taking your Iron? ------------------ girl you looks good won't you mock that draft up?!
Hmmm, best looking femaile poster, eh? Could we be getting Emanuel back, or is this an indication that we are in trade talks with Seattle? Damn you Doc. P.S. - Not really. ------------------ CC.NET Sim League Web Page My Team (Sonics) Runnin', Ravin', Endin', Out.
Remember Webber?? Just checkin'...WHAT IF THE MAGIC REALLY DO WANT DAVIS????? That's what-if, of course!! Is there double-dealing going on here? Or..maybe triple dealing?? When you C D other team and ask them if they're feeling ok!! I'm surprised no one has mentioned the possibility of dealing with Toronto. If the Magic want Davis, they would probably do a sign and trade with the Raptors involving Darrell Armstrong for Davis. Perhaps Doc is suggesting that the Raptors wouldn't be happy with the big men they'd have after Davis left, and that C D is seeing them about a possible deal. Combining this with the tale of two Ken's bit, could Kenny Thomas and/or Cato be heading to Toronto to help this need in a sign and trade? For a Jerome Williams or Keon Clark? This may be totally off the wall, but thought it might be worth bringing up since no one has yet... ------------------ Draftsource.net-- the premier source for draft info. That's a good point The Cat. My biggest fear is what heyp has alluded to. It makes alot of sense, and yet is scary as hell. I serrrrrrrriiiiiously doubt that Rudy would do something like that w/o talking to the cheese. ------------------ girl you looks good won't you mock that draft up?!
More possible clues-As HEB said Puff the Magic Dragon. Same thing makes me think those are the other two teams involved with us. Now what kind of person makes a thing go poof? A Wizard. If we piece this together, obviously CWebb could go to either of those teams. So could Olajuwon. Both teams want to clear cap. A search of Kens comes upon: Kenny Anderson-Unwanted in Boston Kendall Gill-Free Agent from NJ Kenyon Martin-A very nice prize Kenny Thomas-On our own team already 3/4 of current people with Ken in their name played for, or are playing for New Jersey. K-Mart and Gill would also fit in the injury hint before. Maybe some more later. HEB-To add to your paranoia, notice the amount of "!" in the title. 3. Whose number is that? ------------------ "I think alot of people find Cato's game to be very offensive." -aelliott, comparing the offensive skills of Kelvin Cato and Michael Olowokandi [This message has been edited by NIKEstrad (edited June 11, 2001).] [This message has been edited by NIKEstrad (edited June 11, 2001).]
NJ is kinda like two cities. Does the Wizard component mean that Cat in a package gets the #1? Damn. Would you trade Cat for a Battier or a Curry? I don't think that I would... but, I like the 13, 18 and 23. ------------------ girl you looks good won't you mock that draft up?!
I think the marriage is putting tto picks together..leading to a love child...top six pick. ------------------
Orlando and Toronto are beautiful cities. Antonio Davis has a letter to fans on his web site stating that he is moving to Central Florida. Emmanuel "E-Mail" Davis is Nate McMillan's love child. Don't expect him back. Besides, when would he play with Steve and Mooch at the 1? Keep in mind that our biggest needs are PF and C. Doc handed you 2: Hakeem to DC and who we're drafting. Like Nike suggested, Rockbox said something that was right. Could the comment about the HEAT be in reference to Miami? I think he might be talking about 2 or 3 different deals being worked on. The teams might be Sacramento, Toronto, Orlando, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, Miami, & Houston. What players on these teams are of questionable health? There was a deal for Walt, but the other team pulled out & it wasn't pursued further, because the players want him & the offer wasn't good enough to risk team chemistry. The Rockets are actively pursuing trades? Maybe, he means that we're a critical compnent in several trades & are looking for the best offer. Could this mean forget about him? Smoke screen? Hell if I know. Curry, baby Shaq? He's definitely talking about a high schooler or underclassman. Could it be Griffin? If you procreated during the draft, he would be born when he's a junior with 2 years left in college(2 years would be "young for a long time") & would enter the draft as a senior. He's definitely talented & doesn't, just have potential. Griffin would be a perfect fit for the Rockets. What player would be the perfect fit for the Rockets? He could be referring to the Magic or Puff's post: Here is a stupid one for ya: 42: Webber wears number 4 He use to wear number 2 in Golden State Just joining in on the weird speculation That's it, I give up. Doc, you can go on ahead & tell us the answer, because we quit. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Hottoddie (edited June 12, 2001).]
Interesting, baqui. We had some of the same ideas (kind of): I had been typing on my post off and on cause I'm at work and can't be too overt (I mention this lest someone think I'm stealing your ideas!) ------------------

Wow! I may have been right, but which part? This sucks!! I won't be able to work for days, if I keep checking the boards all the time to find out the latest scoop. Well, I hope I was right about everything, except for hakeem leaving. We need someone to kick shaq's butt when we go back to the WCF. ------------------
