    It is the Brady way.

Bill Belichick has made the playoffs once in his 7 seasons without brady as his QB. Bill Belichick, Nick Caserio, Easterby, BOB etc. Should be giving 90% of their salary to Brady. Its like Adam Gase getting multiple jobs because he coached payton. Its time to send Caserio and Easterby packing back to New England

Coaching does matter. Just maybe not so much for Brady.

Its inconsistent to blame bad things fully on coaches, but don't credit them for good things. If culture didnt matter and its only the QB, then Texans wouldnt have struggled with the great Watson he'd overcome the Tex-Pats way.

Same reason Gregg Popovich isn't in the finals every year. I still think there is such a thing as a really good coach though.

It turns out that Bill also got to coach the NFL equivalent of MJ for the majority of his career. Not a bad gig.

With Manu, Parker, and Leonard. 3 HOFers.

None of whom were lottery picks, but were picked and coached by Pop.

Oh definitely. I'm a Pop guy. He's a great coach, but I'll always fall on the side of talent being the reason for winning over coaching.

The biggest impact is that people want to play for Brady. That's what winning does. It attracts ring chasers to sign for cheap. The Patriots lost that when they lost Tom and now they're a mess.

But who picked and then coached the talent?

I'm not saying talent does not matter either. It certainly does. In Tampa's case, they brought in a whole "Brady Bunch", Tom along with some ring chasing pro bowlers and HOF'ers they didnt previously have. Thats enough to overcome lots of organization incompetence.

I just dont think Tom Brady on this year's Texans would make them Super Bowl worthy.

Pop....I guess my thing is, as long as Leonard had an NBA coach, I think he would be who he was. Same with Brady, I think he would still be the goat even sans Bill. If these coaches really could coach players into HOFers, they would be the ones winning every year.

Now, talent evaluation may be different. Maybe Tom never gets of the bench if he's coached by Gary Kubiak, idk.

RC Buford was also there the whole time. See what can happen when a GM and Coach work together?

And I think you are way underselling the value of actual coaching.

Tom in this year's Texans would probably win a single game.
