Wait, this went from Do you believe in God? to ... Why can't straight people go out to eat without being ridiculed by gay people?
This wasn't the Katz's in Austin, was it? That's bizarre, Refman. I've been truckin' around for, uh, a lot longer than I wish I had to own up to, and I've never heard that derogatory term. I wonder what someone will come up with next? Too strange. I'm still wondering how many kids twhy and his future bride plan on having, since the only birth control he's willing to use is... what? The rhythm method?? twhy, I can tell you that it doesn't work very well, and condoms are out. Friend, you've got me stumped. Or else you're planning one hell of a large family. I have some old friends who grew up in a Catholic family that are part of a group of twelve siblings, two of them twins. That's 14, including their parents, who did a terrific job raising them all, and deserve some sort of medal for duty above and beyond the call. And I can tell you that for all the years I've know them, calling them "breeders" never occurred to me. Keep D&D Civil!!
Yes, they are a default data insertion in order to continue the extrapolation of the idea that they are trying to explain. Do you think they are just going to leave those uncaused events unexplained? UK scientists making mini black holes beg to differ.
No Worries is not gay. And here is proof that all that sex the wife and I are having has not gone for naught:
Geez, after a lifetime of being on the receiving end you think you might allow the gay dudes a little compensating if it makes them feel better about themselves. It is kinda funny and I don't know how anyone could take real offense at being called 'Breeders'.
I've got two kids, although I've been called their "Grandfather" before. (now that's insulting!! ) In the right context, I wouldn't be insulted at all. Hell, it would crack me up. Refman took it as an attempted insult, and I'm inclined to believe Refman. There's no call to make cracks like that, especially loud enough that the other party can hear, which implies that those doing the insulting didn't give a damn. That bothers me. Keep D&D Civil!!
I don't think I ever accused you of being gay. I accused you of shifting the language to suit your own needs at the expense of my belief, and that it was just as possible for me to do the same to you, and that we should struggle for a greater understanding of each other if we are to get along here. Way to procreate! Oh yeah Deckard, we don't know how many we'll have yet, but she's the youngest of 14 and her dad was a school teacher so I have a wealth of experience to learn from.
You know...I agree. In the right context, it would have even been funny. This was not that context. I could really give a damn that somebody called me a breeder. It's really silly. But the thought and attitude behind it were not nice. Condescending and disdainful...because a guy and his wife got a table ahead of them.
I feel for you, Ref. That's almost as bad as not being allowed to marry or being told your relationship was an unnatural abomination against God.
Actually, NFP (Natural Family Planning) is extremely effective against unplanned pregnancy. If I am remember correctly, when done properly, it is more effective than the pill and 'obstructive' measures (condom, diaphragm, etc.). I think studies show it is around 99.5% effective.
Yeah the thing I get is why the FDA won't allow this spot on product from overseas that women can use to see if they are pregnant or not. It seems like the only pressure holding it up is pressure from the birth control companies.
