I don't doubt that you struggle with most things you come across. I never "ignored" the words, I just was able to understand the obvious language and you continue to struggle with it.

As to it being "irrelevant", again try to keep up, the part that is relevant is that it was describing an individual right, what is not relevant is exactly which individuals it was speaking of (IE men between age X and age Y) because of the equal protection clause. It was an individual right, thus it's a universal individual right.
