I bought a KD shirt 5 months ago so I know he's leaving.

Backstory: I bought a Tmac jersey in 2007 or so. It was the first jersey I had purchased for a player on my team. I was excited, I could wear it while watching games at home (in Austin). Tmac was traded a few years later.

I bought a Harden jersey probably a year before he left. I was even more pumped. He was playing well and we were competitive. We know how that turned out.

My mother in law bought me a nice NFL jersey for Christmas one year. The only NFL jersey I owned at the time (I added a Warren Moon one later). It was nice, I didn't wear it much because I was afraid of getting it dirty. That player was traded a year or two afterwards.

SO, I bought this KD shirt (but it's not a jersey) a few months ago. It was before he pulled his stupid burner sht. And when I bought it I was thinking, "You know what this means." But he was playing well and I didn't want him to leave at the time. I think now I knew somehow this would help us move on from him.

I believe KD came here saying, "I need to put up X shots a game to get my all-time points up." The Rockets brought him in with that understanding. But we were too "Kevin needs his points" and our team play suffered. Ime was fine with KD talking all the shots because he's an idiot.

Burnergate soured the team. I don't think they want him here and I don't think he wants to be here. Ime wants him here but I think KD is gone. Unfortunately, Ime isn't going no matter how much we wish he would. Same with Stone. (We needed to trade Jalen and that awful contract but in hindsight I wish we would've traded him for a different package.)

As many have said, the worst thing we can do is trade players to get Giannis or Kawhi to pair with KD. That team has no shot (if Kawhi could be healthy it might have a small shot as he can shoot 3's). Giannis doesn't help with 3's and Kawhi won't stay healthy.

Well at least we know who to blame now. Thanks a lot, @jogo.
