No worries, brother. Looking forward to your explanation tomorrow of how Pete isn’t smart. Sweet dreams.

I find him facile, which is not the same as intelligent. I also don't think he has been a very effective transportation secretary, but perhaps I've missed his accomplishments. to be fair, we don't usually think about cabinet secretaries, and if it wasn't for his sexuality, we wouldn't hear about him at all.

but more to his fit on the ticket, I just don't see what he brings to the table that Kamala can't get elsewhere. He's not going to deliver Indiana, he has no foreign policy experience, she doesn't need help with the gay vote...I think he's reached his ceiling.

I think they both wisely choose not to participate in this shitshow. At least I hope that’s the case and that they are doing well. Good guys.

Don’t agree with your take on Pete but it doesn’t matter, all signs point to her picking Shapiro.

someone "on here" stated Kamala's qualifications as: POC, Woman, Not Trump. Do you think there's more to her? she appears to be singularly politically untalented, or at least not obviously so in the way we think of Reagan, Clinton, or Obama.

Kamala has started out surprisingly well, if she avoids any major missteps she will win. Trump is an unmitigated disaster, that much is crystal clear.

Yes, she is tough and completely unafraid of the Donald. That’s where we are, for better or worse.

thanks. I was afraid that's what it was. I fear democrats are making the same mistake they made in 2016, rather than making a positive case for how they'd govern, it's just orange man bad all the way down.

Electing a woman of color is a good thing in and of itself. That’s a hill you’ll have to DEI on :)
