its over, but im only saying it because of tmac. Im thinking the media is pumping this up big time right now. Just wait a few months and see how yao is doing- this may be an immense overreaction.

It's the end of the team as we know it, and I feel fine...

Anyone else feel this way? It's kinda like the reports that say Malcolm X smiled just befor he was assassinated. He was just glad for all the worrying and wondering to be over.

That's how I feel about hoping against hope every year to avoid injuries. Finally won't have to worry about that anymore.

It's a sad, sad day to be a Rockets fan. I'm feeling a bit lost and confused, where to turn?, what to do?

But to tank a season? Hell No!

Resigning either one of these guys? Hell No!

Era is over. Time to put a fork in it. Morey let's see what kind of magic you can work now. Time to do it to it! Go Rockets!!!

Even if Yao does somehow come back to play next year, McGrady won't sniff another minute in a Rockets uniform.

The era is over and has been over ever since the trade deadline.

Yep this is probably it, although I'd wait till Yao's injury status becomes official (i.e. when Rockets come out and say he's out indefinitely) to put down the final lament.

Tracy probably has played his last game as a Rocket, and Yao may have played his last game in the NBA if his injury is as serious as reported. Despite of their flaws, these two are among the best players to ever wear a Houston Rockets uniform. I wish them both the best in the future. Too bad we weren't able to win anything during this era, but there has been some fun memories.

I think people are hitting the panic button. All we can do is see how severe Yao's injury really is, I don't trust the Rockets medical staff anymore. They boggled T-mac's injury and said he could play on it when he really needed surgery. And now they boggled Yao's injury.
