I don't watch much WWE now, but UW shared many a day with me and my friends as we gathered around the television or cheered from the floor. Warrior, Hogan, Macho Man, Jake the Snake, Andre the Giant... I send my thanks to them all. I'm glad that he lived long enough to see himself inducted into the WWE hall of fame, and that he was able to make one last curtain call before facing life's curtain call. Thank you Ultimate Warrior. And thank you for the years of wonderful entertainment. My youth wouldn't have been the same without you. Rest in peace, and my condolences to his family.
Totally bummed about Warrior. He was my first favorite and the reason I tuned into Wrestling when I was a little tyke. Was always a Warrior guy over a Hogan guy.
Was never really a Warrior guy, he was basically Hogan with more energy and promos that made absolutely no sense. Having said that this really is sad. So many years having bad blood with WWE, and when things finally get patched up, and he becomes a member of the community again this happens. Really odd, almost like his body was only holding out long enough to have those moments. The shelf life of wrestlers from the 80'/90's really is terrifyingly short.
My thoughts and prayers to the Warrior and his family. I'm sure there's going to be a tribute for him on Friday Night Smackdown or Monday Night Raw.

Stopped listening after a minute when they said Wyatt/Cena was a 1 out of a 5 and Undertakers entrance was dumb and took too long. They like no one but Taker/Lesnar/the road agent in charge of the match and Vince have a clue why it ended but Taker is old school and the old school way of hanging it up is on your back (losing). I still like Lesnar being the guy over Reigns or Cesaro. I don't think either of those two could ever live it down with just turning face and the long careers they have ahead of them. Where as Lesnar will always stay heel and has the proven mindset to handle it. Plus like someone said Bryan beating HHH, Orton and Batista all in one night means he's going to need a monster too run a program with/drop the title too at Summer Slam.
So I just rewatched all the mania matches and after much contemplation I think it was good that Taker lost. Just because of the way the crowd was responding to the match and the way Taker looked thru out the match... He didn't look like he could beat Brock and the crowd wasn't buying it, the only way for them to get a reaction (other than the obligatory half hearted cheers) was for the streak to end. As much as I hated to see it happen, it will go down as the most shocking moment in WWE history. Forget Hogan slamming Andre, when Brock Lesner F5'ed The Undertaker the WWE universe was truly in disbelief, and that is not something that happens very often in wrestling especially in todays era where everyone knows its a work. True Story: Spoiler When I originally watched on sunday and I saw Lesner counter and pick up Taker for the third time I stood up, and as he dropped him down I fell to my knees, and right then I knew the streak was over... and after he pinned him I sat there in shock, knowing I just watched my childhood end. It was truly heartbreaking!
Still trying to wrap my head around Warrior's passing. RIP Yeah, that botch was definitely on AJ. Paige's scorpion cross-lock finisher is the craziest-looking submission move I've seen in a while. People are going to flip their #!%^ when she breaks that one out on Raw.

Pretty sad timing. Sting and Warrior were good friends if I recall correctly. They broke into wrestling at the same time and originally started out as tag partners.
WWE Officials Sent to Arizona to Help Ultimate Warrior’s Widow Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 04.12.2014 WWE supporting Warrior’s family… - TMZ reports that WWE will be helping the widow of the late former WWE Superstar and Hall of Famer, the Ultimate Warrior (born Jim Hellwig). The company will reportedly be flying two senior WWE officials to Arizona to stand by and help her. WWE is said to have sent employees almost immediately after Warrior's passing to help his wife, Dana, handle some personal things, such as grocery shopping and informing other family members of what's happening, so Dana can focus on being with her and Warrior's daughters. Warrior passed away earlier this week on Tuesday (April 8) outside an Arizona hotel after suffering what was called a "catastrophic medical event."
