WWE Stock Takes A Dive After WrestleMania XXX
I completely agree with X-Pac, that should have been Roman Reigns destroying the Undertaker, could have been huge for them. Did they already forget the pop he got at Royal Rumble?
Not that I trust WWE writers... But Damien Sandow, while he was pretty over, never did anything remotely as compelling as the character work Bray Wyatt has done in the last six months or so. Not even CLOSE.
Or the backlash could be too much this is why I think Lesnar is the perfect choice. He can handle this. Taker going out the old school way of losing your last match.
Not only that but the story the announcers were projecting during the match was not whether Bray cared of winning or losing but bringing out Cena as a monster. Also I'm sure the fued doesn't stop yet
Anyone else hearing these rumors that Brock wasn't supposed to win? I don't know if I buy it but Brock seems like the type of guy that might actually do something like that. And the Undertaker has enough respect or the business to where he would just roll with it rather than expose it.
I sincerely doubt that. For one Taker could have just kicked out. Secondly Lesnar has been selling his ass off for the last few months, doubt he would do all that and then pull some crap in the ring. Just people making stuff up because everybody is still shocked at the result.
Yeah I doubt it also, what's funny is I saw Taker say "lets take it home" I just wasn't expecting him to be the one to lay down.
Reigns can't do anything in the ring except the spear and his superman punch. He honestly needs more of a moveset to go along with all that strength (see: Cesaro), before Reigns gets pushed. If you guys pay real close attention to Shield tag matches, Rollins and Ambrose do all of the technical stuff / work / heavy lifting, and when the crowd is really into the match near the end, Reigns gets tagged in, spears and superman punches people, and the Shield wins. If they were going to have Taker lose, it really should have been to Punk last year.
The streak and the legacy were on the line though. There's more context than what you're referring to.
http://www.forbes.com/sites/chrissm...the-undertaker-would-lose-at-wrestlemania-30/ Can't believe anyone actually bets on wrestling match. Well someone made a killing on that lose. Wish I knew about wrestling bets. Undertaker was bound to lose eventually, no one leaves the business on top, but it was surprising it was to Lesnar.
Pretty surprising, since the outcome is pre-determined. Can't members of the creative team set the matches, and then bet on the winners? It's easy money, no?
Pretty much. Someone with insider info most likely did bet, no way someone bets that much to cause a huge jump in the line without some sort of guarantee.
