Makes sense. If Bryan beats Orton, Batista and HHH for the title tonight, they need a monster for him to face.
First time I've ever shed a tear during a wrestling match. Can't believe it's over. What a great career for Taker though.
I think that reaction was always going to happen when he lost. I guess no one ever expected Taker to ever lose. I certainly didn't. I always thought he'd retire undefeated. I can't wait to hear what went on behind the scenes in building this match.
I just realized next year Wrestlemania will be on March 25th. One day after Undertaker's 50th birthday. Seems like the perfect time to celebrate him for everything he's done.
I'm guessing Undertaker wanted to drop the match and the streak as a nod of respect to the business by going out on your back. Too bad there wasn't someone more permanent he could've lost the streak to than Brock
They're pushing Cesaro hard, so I wouldn't be surprised if his name comes up for main events in the summer.
I think Batista was originally booked to win the title tonight, when he signed his contract. That pissed Punk off.
I think it's just that Batista is supposed to win the belt during his contract, they planned to have him win it during WM, and that pissed Punk off. He walked, they changed their plans.
This. Brock Lesnar was a terrible decision of whoso have break the streak. There are many good wrestlers in the locker room that have busted their butt night in and night out for that company. Not to mention the fact that Lesnar is the most boring wrestler alive.
What a great show! Even the divas match was better than expected. Can't believe the streak is over. Agree Lesnar vs. Bryan at SummerSlam. Ranking the matches 1. Bryan/HHH 2. Lesnar/Taker 3. Wyatt/Cena 4. Bryan/Orton/Batista 5. Tag Title Match 6. Andre Battle Royal 7. Shield/Kane and Outlaws 8. Divas title match Wish there was a Hogan/Zeb Coulter match to determine who is the Real American
