RKO where he came up supposedly from beneath the ring. But it's not even that, it looks like he's enjoying himself, which is the only way we avoid the Orton-Sheamus version of Orton.
Additionally, the camera angles were done really well and the crowd reaction was perfect. It was a cool throwback moment to old wrestling before you knew everything was going to happen already because of the internet. You're right that Orton looks like he's enjoying himself. He's been very enjoyable (consistently) lately which is something he has not been for a while, perhaps going back to the "legend killer" storyline.
Wow I really enjoyed Smack down this week I was skeptical with the roster at first but they are doing enough things different with everyone that guys are shining. Also I agree Orton looks rejuvenated I've always appreciated his work but for a while it was stale... Still he has always been and is still one of the 5 best wrestlers on the planet imo.
Oh and that AJ and Cena promo was amazing... I really hope they let that burn awhile. I know everyone now days gets sick of feuds after a few months but if any feud is deserving of a year long storyline in the business today its Cena Vs Styles
I kind of laughed at the whole Eva Marie thing, someone tweeted "can we just get entrance and that's it", seconds later the whole "im injured" angle. Then we don't get Carmella's debut match but probably be a kickoff show for Summerslam and still no Alexa American Alpha's debut was nice even though Gable/English look like they botched the beginning. Thought the #IWC overreacted with him saying Apollo Creed instead of Crews. Overall good show, seems like they talk more on Smackdown with the whole panel segment yet, they have a hour less than Raw
What would really be nice is if they were fighting for a title a something that the wwe has never had a TV championship.
five fave 1st rd matches Akira Tozawa/Kenneth Johnson Gran Metalik/Alejandro Saez T.J. Perkins/Da Mack Brian Kendrick/Raul Mendoza Kota Ibushi/Sean Maluta Gargano/Ciampa was right there they've been on NXT TV a lot lately so it didn't feel fresh like every other match plus I like Ciampa cause he's strikes are way better. There's only 1 or 2 1st rd matches where I feel like the better performer lost, but I know you need upsets in tournaments
Gargano/Ciampa was an amazing match, but for me the Gallagher/Aichner was the most surprisingly enjoyable. I love Gallagher's reversals (that opening one he set up for a good minute was hilariously awesome), and Aichner showed a surprisingly good combination of power and agility. Wouldn't mind him getting a longer look in NXT, and at 6' 203 he could easily get into the 215-220 range and not look like a total midget in the ring against WWE non-cruisers.
The whole build to the Galagher match I was praying he wouldn't be wack, but damn he was great or hilarious or both. Also for Aichner's video package they showed him doing that double springboard moonsault, so I was already expecting it. If they didn't that wouldn't been a much bigger moment. He did have an amazing power bomb from idk a small package reversal. That Ciampa powerbomb-backbreaker looked super brutal, and if you told me that the first back elbow knocked out a tooth instead of spit I would believe you. That was a sizable ball of spit.
I like the Gargano vs Ciampa match. My nitpick is that Ciampa was doing a little too much offense and not enough selling. Anyone have this nitpick? I don't remember a time when Gargano threw in his offense, you?
I've always liked the TV Championship! A title that is always on the line (but without the 24/7 hardcore stuff, no Crash Holly being pinned at Chuck E Cheese or whatever). Back in the 90s WCW had some great TV champs, DDP, Marc Mero, Arn Anderson. It adds some zest to the weekly programs and the midcard knowing there will always be a title match. They did that for a little while with Cena's U.S. Title open challenge.
Soo.. question about WWE live events: For WWE Live in San Antonio on August 28: http://www.wwe.com/wwe-live-3 If you go to that link for that event, it shows various wrestlers. Should I take this to mean that these wrestlers will be at that event? I would think so, but I clicked on some Raws and it showed Dean Ambrose; I clicked on some Smackdowns and it showed Roman Reigns. Obviously that isn't right. So just hoping someone can let me know how to find out who will be at certain events, and if possible how to find out what the matches will be.
They should still be there. They were probably advertised for the show before the brand split. Looks like both brands will be in the same state since Raw will be here that Monday, and Dallas for SD the next night so shouldn't be a travel issue for their "TV Brand" roster Last Monday, there was a dark match of Cena, Reigns, Ambrose vs. Rollins, KO, and AJ Styles after it went off the air and didn't explain why the SD superstars were there to the live audience.
First of all, if you haven't heard Bobby Roode's NXT theme, do yourself a favor and listen to it now. Second, check out https://twitter.com/JohnnyGargano?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw for Johnny Gargano and Tomaso Chiampa's "Gloriousbombs". I hope they keep this up for as long as they are all in NXT.

They've added at least one more. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://twitter.com/JohnnyGargano?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
