Almost all of these posts were INITIATED attacks on me because someone didn't like the content of a post of mine that dealt with how I felt about an ISSUE verses a personal attack against anyone here. A few were jump ins by others because I was defending myself against a PERSONAL attack from someone else.

If you don't like my views about a politician or political party, either rebut the view or ignore it. But don't attack me PERSONALLY because I personally don't like a candidate or their positions, etc. If you do, you will receive the same in return. I have found that the majority of people here that result to personal attacks towards the poster are "contributing members".

I have nothing against contributing members that don't have inflated egos about their long presence here making them better than anyone else. I am sure that the vast major of them are this way. There are just a few super ego types that have that title under their name that let it go to their heads.

What they fail to forget, is that while a poster may be new to this forum, they have had the views that they share on this forum probably their entire life. They didn't just come to this forum and start to get opinionated or develope personalities that get expressed here. Heck, many if not most are probably even posters on other forums other than the BBS as well.

So some of you need to get off of your high horse of "my forum because I have been here longer", and try to understand that it is a public room to express your views...it's not your front porch club.

As you can see, I can take an insult, a punch, constructive critism or well intended advice. It doesn't matter to me which you all give. But what you give will definitely determine what you get back.

So don't dish it out if you are then gonna cry like little p***y cats when you get attacked back.

 

It's pretty impressive and difficult to alienate everyone on both sides of the political spectrum. Generally, when that happens, the fault is your own, not everyone else's.

 

Keep it coming. Whatever floats your boat. One thing they all have in common...time on here.

 

Not that my opinion matters but I like Palin. The pick adds a little drama to an otherwise boring other side. I don't know if it's been posted but I would love to find the CNBC interview she did recently and post it, she came off knowledgeable and solid.

(edit: not intended for AB. I kind of agree with AB, and I wish she would be allowed to start making some appearances. I think she could be formidable and really connect with voters; I'm planning to watche her VP speech at the convention. All that aside, her views are pretty counter to mine, especially on the environment, science, etc)

Let's see...last night you attacked my weight (classic), accused me of taking drugs, questioned my sexuality (on multiple occasions)...etc etc etc. I dared to question your overuse of the rolleyes smilie and use of the word "crap" as the sole basis of the "content" of your post.
