I vote for whatever show is responsible for popularizing "reality" tv. 2nd vote is for all women's talk shows. 3rd vote all soap operas. 4th vote - Everything Geraldo has ever appeared on. 5th vote - Fox news (all of their PROGRAMMING) 6th vote - infomercials not necessarily in that order.
That's kinda harsh. He has his opinion. Albeit long and far-off in my opinion, but it's his none the less.
This must be the inclusion of "Family Guy" and "American Dad" in my list.. And, I thought South Park fans were defensive.. My Idea of what good/great shows are, in my so-called 'long and far-off' opinion : M*A*S*H, X-Files, House, Cheers, Frasier, Good Times (with James Evans), Boston Legal, CSI, All in the Family, Family Ties, The Wonder Years, Three's Company, Married with Children (seasons 1-4), Sanford and Son, Murder She Wrote, Knight Rider, Hawaii 5' 0, Quantum Leap, Dragnet, The Cosby Show, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Doogie Howser M.D. ,Punky Brewster, Bob Newhart, Rosanne, I Love Lucy. The Simpsons (seasons 1-6). Rockford Files>>>>>>>> Magnum P.I Good nick shows = Rocko's modern LIfe, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, INvader Zim, Are you afraid of the Dark? I went through each era of sitcoms/shows I could remember, and listed what I thought were the worst of each comparible genre. Compare them to this list and see how not so "far-off" I actually am. Disagree with my opinion, don't attempt to minimize it's quality or devalue it's thought process. Thanks.
I told someone to backoff from calling you an idiot and voiced that you have your opinion like everyone else and you respond to me in a rude manner. It was nice knowing you.
y'all shut your whorish mouths! mama's family is classic late night viewing for when i can't go to sleep and night court is just good. i voted for the 5th House of Pain choice b/c it seems likely that the 5th episode will be the worst. seriously, those commercials make it appear so unfunny i literally can't believe it. unless they are just hiding some friggin' comic gold from the previews, i have no idea how this was greenlighted unless tyler perry won tbs in a bet from ted turner. every clip is just someone saying a sentence and then he either says the opposite or some quick little phrase that would take about 2 seconds to come up with. or he knocks a basketball out of someone's hand. the bill engvall show will suck hard too, buy maybe in just a "jeff foxworthy show" type of way. where it's a stupid family sitcom that's pretty far up the suck list, but might actually have a laugh somewhere in there. house of pain, i don't know what to say. and i don't watch the closer, but apparently a lot of people do and it seems to have emboldened tnt/tbs to start making more of their own shows, and they might wanna slow it down if the most recent batch is any indication.
i would say survivor. other shows like real world and cops were around before, but survivor is what i remember kicking off the boom. hell, I even watched survivor, and i avoid most reality tv like the plague. it just kinda sucked everyone in b/c it was new and then people started copying it and then branching out into other genres of reality tv and we got to here. luckily sitcoms seem to be making something of a comeback these days after the deaths of seinfeld, frasier, friends, and everybody loves raymond.
i knew the haters would come out with that comment. but that's okay, b/c i just pretend that haters are dirt and that they are currently on my shoulder and i am now going to brush them off gently with my hand. in effect, i guess one might say i'm brushing the haters off, if anybody ever said such things.
