I was going to add Taco Mi Lagro. I remember when these women at my job were hyping it when it first opened. Then they brought some back to the office. Not good. To trendy. Mexican food ain't trendy. Another overpriced trendy chain, LeMadeline.
AMEN!!! holy crap. it's like the sandwich platter at an old womens' bridge game. you have to give up your man card just to walk in the door!
The food at Taco Milgro tasted like soggy cardboard mixed with Elmer's glue. It was just disgusting. As RMT said, it seems to be a popular happy-our/casual drinks place. But the food was just gross.
Wow again.....I've always had good meals there. Granted, I've only eaten there in the past year........or back in the eighties when he had his Richmond location (in the building where El tiempo now exists).
I went to Taco Milagro once. I couldn't even find parking. Some d!ck in a yellow Mercedes took the last spot, walked out and gave me a smug smile. Man how I wanted to take an aluminum bat to the side of his temple. But anyway, I actually like La Madeline. The mushroom cream soup and the chicken salad sandwich on croissant is excellent! My add on to the worst list would be Mai's.
Really? What don't you like about Mia Bella. That is one of my favorite places for lunch. IMHO the food is good, but the service sucks. Pei Wei, now that place blows
Come on man, it's not that bad! I actually love me some of there Kung Pao chicken stock velvet w/ extra peanuts. Yummy!
I LOVE Los Cucos. Small portions my ass. I can barely finish the La Bonita, but I do. I hate Taqueria Andrais or however you spell it. Grodey modey.
Get out much? You've obviously never been to Damian's. Although, being from NJ, I can see how you are as particular about Italian food as we Houstonians are about BBQ and Tex Mex.
I've also found that despite Landry's buying the Grotto, they've kept the food and service to Tony's standards.
I beg to differ. I've been eating at the Grotto for years. After Fertitta bought it, it stayed good for about two months, then slid into homogenization. I still drink there, and maybe have a pizza at the bar, but I refuse to eat a full-blown sit down meal there.
Sorry I should say the fajitas are small for what you pay.. when they bring out the plate of fajitas there is almost 2x more veggies than meat... it goes for fajitas for 1 or 2.. same problem with both.. If anyone is in Katy give La Finca on Highland Knolls a chance, they have good stuff there, but make sure to get more tortillas at the table when you are eating because if you take anything home and then asks for more tortillas they will want to charge you for them..
I can't believe that YOU don't have an opinion on this. I can't remember a time that we went out to eat that you didn't have some complaint about service, food, etc. I'm not complaining because this usually resulted in something comming off the bill, I just can't believe that you don't have some input here.
