I'm glad I'm not the only one. An intentionally stupid movie is even worse than any that does it by accident. The popularity of Napoleon Dynamite is indictative of the downfall of mankind.
The Brothers Solomon is the worst movie I've ever seen. And I thought I'd love it, being such huge fans of Will Arnet and Will Forte.
You didn't like the gun kata?! ...thought it was pretty good but wouldn't buy it; the story itself was a little void of emotion. Star Wars (outside Phantom Menace) LoTR March of the Penguins English Patient Dances with Wolves There are some movies being listed here that were very well received and a number of them are Oscar winners!
Moulin Rouge is the largest waste of film I have ever endured in its entirety. Pulp Fiction is worse, but although I have started watching it 3 times I have never lasted a full hour.
I know I will catch sh** for this but ... The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring I want that 3 hours of my life back. Some of the other movies mentioned like _Batman and Robin_ were impossible to sit all the way through.
Crossover - It's so bad that I watch it just to laugh. Wayne Brady is the bad guy, that should tell you to stay away. The acting camera work, settings, and everything else from this movie is an abomination. The Happening - The only thing that kept me from walking out is that me and my friend's wife kept cracking jokes to make each other laugh at this horrible flick. Unbreakable - This was the first movie I went to see at the movie theater and got upset about. Sucks!
BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA?????????????? This is one of my favorite movies of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fast Food Nation...horrible, bad, boring....It was honestly ridiculous, I have no idea why that was even released in theatres. I hardly ever complain about any movies, love them all, but that was just downright stupid.
I agree -- of all the movies in this thread, Shipwreck has scuttled his yacht with that horrible post. BTLC is one of the BEST movies I sat all the way through, and through, and through again. Best bad-guy ever.
All these spoofs in the past couple of years have been horrible like Scary Movie 3 & 4 Date Movie Epic Movie Meet the Spartans That new one that came out only on DVD Superhero Movie tops them off, waste of money I know they are supposed to be dumb movies but man they don't even try.
Sounds like some people are just listing 'popular movies I didn't like.' Some of you aren't trying hard enough. Mars Attacks is another good call. I rented that damn thing just because of Natalie Portman.
Pulp Fiction is a great film, but I can see how it would not be to everyone's tastes.. And yes, Big Trouble in Little China is one of the great flicks ever, one of the most quotable as well - 'Are you crazy? Is that your problem?' 'It's all in the reflexes..' 'remove your tie please.' 'Yeah, I know what you mean, my wife bought it for me..' 'Any of 'em savvy English?' 'Hey man, who IS this guy?' Heh gonna have to put that one on the dvd player when I get home..
Yeah it seems people are listing movies that weren't actually that bad, they just happened to not like them at all. Maybe it wasn't their kind of movie. I think the idea of this thread is "THE WORST MOVIE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH" now list accordingly.
what was great was the mirror camera work like i remember there was one scene where the guy was dunking and they flipped the image, but you could tell because of the numbers on the guy's jersey. also there was another scene where a guy is shooting a free throw and he is going up to shoot with his left hand and then they cut to show the release and he is shooting with right. (or the other way around either way) sadly not the worst movie I sat through since I laughed a lot in Crossover this:
